Shadow got up when Bell and Pepper attacked Jerry, "Is it wrong to defend our territory, and to threaten prey-stealer trespassers to keep them away!" she hissed, "May I remind you that the kittypet was hunting in my territory, and that you took that mouse from me on my territory!" She clawed at Jerry one more time before disappearing into the shadows. She slipped into their tree unseen, grabbed two mice and came back to the battle without being noticed. "One is for taking the mouse I had," she hissed, "And the other is for trespassing in the first place!" She padded toward the edge of the fighting said, "Scar, Bell, Pepper, we have what we came for. Lets go." The she-cat disappeared into the shadows, heading towards her own territory.

Jerry rolled his eyes and growled loud enough for them to hear, "Your territory is in twolegplace, which is no good, and you had no right to take a kittypet's prey. If I see you doing that one more time, you'll regret it." He turned to Spirit worridly and meowed, "Are you hurt? Are you alright?" he started checking all over her and licked a wound he found. "Let's go back in the den. And thanks again, Mikk." Jerry meowed.

"What have you been up to now?" Illusion grumbled as she slid out from under an elder bush, her head cocked to one side. Her question was directed to Mikk, whom she traveled along with Spark. As her brilliant blue eyes took in the scene before her, the white she-cat rolled her eyes in amusement and answered her own question. "Fighting."

Shadow arrived back at the alley where she lived. She placed down one mouse for the other cats in her group to eat and she brought the other to the secret place where her kits were. When the saw her, they began mewling for food, and she gave them the mouse, which they eat quickly. Her kits were getting very skinny, and prey was hard to find. The mouse the kittypet caught ealier had been the only mouse she saw all day, and Jerry had taken it and gave it back to the kittypet. Jerry and the other cats had no idea how hard it was to get enough food to feed her kits and the rest of the loners in her group. She left her kits again and returned to where the other loners were.

Claw walked away into the shadows, looking for food. He would try to avoid other cats.

~Omg! Stream, what if Shadows secrete kits father is Mikk! Like they were mates for a period of time before they broke up, and Mikk could like find out about the kits while looking for Shadow! :0~

Shadow, Bone, and Ghost waited in the alley wondering where Bell, Pepper, and Scar were.

~Um, Stream, Ghost is the name of one of Spirit and Jerry's kits... O.o That's gonna be confusing.~

Mikk nodded, and then he looked at Spark and Illusion. "You two stay here, I'll go keep an eye out for Shadow. You two can hunt if your hungry. Spark, help Jerry and Spirit with their wounds." Spark dipped her head, and scrambled up the tree. Mikk padded off into the shadows, tracing Shadow's scent.

Mikk found her scent leading down a dank alleyway, and so he tracked it. Suddenly, he heard a quiet wail. Mikk jumped up and then he padded up to the little hollow and found two kits. "Kits!" he mewed, looking around for their mother.

~I'll change Ghost's name~

Shadow was walking towards the hollow with a piece of moss she found for her kits. She saw Mikk and dropped the moss, running in front of her kits to protect them. "Mikk!" she hissed, "What are you doing with my kits!" The two young kits hid behind Shadow.

"Your kits?" Mikk asked, his eyes flittering over the two boney scrapes. "Shadow, their starving..Is this why you had to steal from the kittypet?" He asked his old mate calmly. "Shadow! You should of told me about the kits! I could of helped! They wouldn't be starving!" he acused, staring at the little ones. He saw a reflection of his own amber-green eyes in the black kit.

"I couldn't tell you, they were supposed to be secret. No one else knows about them besides us. Promise me you won't tell anyone!" Shadow said, "That kittypet that I took the mouse from, had caught the first mouse I'd seen all day." The two kits stared up at Mikk.

~Could Mo be Shadow's best friend, and she knows too? :O~

~Humph. You just copied Mikk's personality and made a girl. THEY SHOULD BE SIBLINGS! The playa sblings xD ~

"Shadow....They need a better home. Or at least full bellies. Shadow, this is the middle of Greenleaf, and they are as thin as sticks. They...won't make it much longer.." He said slowly, looking down at the scrapes of fur and bones. "Shadow, I...could raise them until greenleaf, and bring them back. They would be much stronger and old enough to be trained." He mewed, looking at the black she-cat. Being close to her brought up old memories.

Mo was walking around until she smelt her brother's scent. Mikk...?! she followed the scent and saw Mikk and Shadow. "Sh-Shadow? Mikk...? What's going on...?" she looked down at the kits. She stared at the two cats, waiting for an answer.
~Mikk should have thought she was dead!!! :O~

~Mo can be her best friend and know~

"I don't want my kits to be take away from me..." Shadow said, "Its the whole reason I've kept them secret. I'll be able to get enough prey for them if you can convice Jerry to stay away and not take prey away from me or the other loners in my group. He doesn't understand why we have to take prey from others sometimes. Promise me you won't tell anyone about them, and please let them stay with me." The two kits had moved closer to Shadow. They wanted to stay with her and didn't want to go with the strange cat who they had never met before. To Mo, she said, "He found out about the kits.."

~For everyone else, please don't make your cats find the kits. Right now only Shadow, Mo, and Mikk can know about them~

Mo stared at Mikk, "You left me...! I haven't seen you since..... well, who knows! You and the rest of our family left me like I was a piece of dung! Why are you here?" Her eyes started to tear up, "Why did you leave me...?"

"I didn't leave you, Mo! I told you I would cross the thunderpath first, and when I crossed, I waited, and waited but you never crossed! I thought you died!" Mikk raged, then he calmed down, "But your not dead. Now hold on." He then turned to Shadow, and mewed simply "I'll bring you prey. Every day. I'll convince Jerry to never bother you again." He then glanced up at the sinking sun, and mewed "I'll be back tomorrow, with prey." He then looked at Mo, and mewed "Do you want to come meet my friends or stay with Shadow?" He asked.

~This is so confusing D: I have no idea what to do!~

Mo hissed, "I'm never trusting you again! You and everyone left me! Why would I trust you again? Shadow found me and took care of me ever since. I'm not leaving her now. I need to help her with her kits." She looked at the kits, then back at Mikk. "I would risk my life for Shadow. I'm not leaving her. She's like the mother I never had... Why don't you just leave like you did before!" she spat.

Spirit looked at Jerry. "Those weak she-cats didn't touch a hair on my pelt." She snapped "Sorry, Jerry. Its just, I don't want my kits to have no father." She told him. She scrambled up into the den in the tree. She looked down at Jerry and mewed "Coming?" She asked.

Jerry climbed after her and laid down next to her. "I understand that, but I started fighting because I know what was coming next. Mikk and Spark. They both come help me when something bad happens. And anyways, you saw how small those cats were compared to me..." he realized he started bragging about himself, "Erm, but it was going to be fine either way. I'm going to go hunting. You know, the thing that Shadow doesn't know how to do." he muttered the last part under his breath. He padded out of the den and heard a mouse. He crouched, silently padded right behinded, than stepped on it, crushing it's spine, killing it. He padded away and continued.

Spirit looked at Jerry leave and then her yowl split the air and she jerked in pain and another yowl split the air as she felt a sharp pain rum through her.

(Appearently Spirit and Jerry aren't ber observant. I just wanted to have the kits. Or the RP might die before I have them, Ill RP Ghost.)

Jerry came back with two mice and a wad of wet moss, so they could have water. He dropped everything when he saw she was in labor. He grabbed a stick and the wet moss and sat by her side. He meowed calmly, "Bite on the stick when the pain gets worse, and say, 'Water' when you want water." He smiled at his mate, his facial expression saying, It's going to be alright. Stay calm.
