The Life-Givers and Death-Bringers. The never-ending war between the two groups. The Life-Givers are the peace-makers. The Death-Bringers are the chaos-makers. They are mortal enemies, the dispute between them stretching to the beginning of time. Now, the time nearing Winter Solstice, the Death-Bringers will try to take advantage of the day they are most powerful, and bring their sworn enemy to heel.

A lean, tall figure appeared silently, his slate gray eyes like slabs of cold marble as they swept the alley before him. The moon made his hair a metallic silver-black shade, a mysterious mix of colors that made him look alien, dangerous. He narrowed his glittering eyes, mouth tightening into a line
The alley seemed empty, not a single sound disturbed the stale air. Yet Halt knew that his warriors were there, waiting, watching.
He made if soft tsk tsk sound with his tongue, stepping forward to stand on a sloping boulder as flames wreathed over his hands, flowing down to illuminate the rock in a ghostly apparition.
The humans appeared almost at once, seemingly to detach from the shadows themselves to gather beneath their well-respected leader.
"It is time," Halt said simply, his deep gravelly voice easily reaching everyone's ears even though he spoke quietly.
The gathered warriors raised their fists and from their throats came a single sound--swelling in unison--a sound that promised death.

She has little training in the subject of weapons, although she is adept in how to use her own body in fights. Agile and fast, she is not very strong, but still strong enough to shock others.

Baylee. Death-Bringers Second-in-Command. Slender and has brilliantly pale skin. Her hair is naturally curly and falls in thick ringlets over her narrow shoulders. She looks hardly sixteen but in all actuallity around twenty. She has large blue eyes with flecks of pure white within them. Baylee's lips are full but not too much so. Her usual facial expression is somewhere between a grimace and a frown. Sometimes you may discover a small quirk in her lips that could be called a smirk and other times, you see her grinning and doubling over in laughter. This girl is quite complex. By no means is she girly. However, she does dress up from time to time. Her usual attire is a pair of basketball shorts, a wife-beaterish tanktop, and converse with her hair in a messy bun. She (like her sister) excells in many martial arts styles of fighting and may be stronger than her twin, Sala. Baylee is rather strange. She can be loud and hyper with a good sense of humor and then turn around and be quiet and timid. Afterward, her temper can flare and you better naot be in range of her claws...literally. Shape-shifting. Regular predatory animals. Is Halt's girlfriend. She stole him from another girl whom she completely mauled. That girl was her bestfriend. Now, no girl dares approach Halt without Baylee's approval. Is also Sala's twin sister. Lighty~

Jeremy. Death-Bringers Healer. Very tall dark haired boy with bright blue eyes. Memory; can remember anything. Leopardstrike~

Titus. Death-Bringers Training Master. Titus is quite handsome. His skin is neither pale nor tan and basically flawless except for a slight 5'oclock shadow scruff and a pale jaggen scar on his jawline. Most call him mysterious because he doesn't talk much and always wears a sad smirk. Titus's hair is so darkly brown that it looks black. Usually, he keeps it messy and slightly covering his alluring pale green eyes. He is rather well-muscled but is generally calm. Patience and intelligence can be found in his eyes. No one but a select few hear him speak. So, most think he is mute. Super-strength. Always keeps a pair of brass knuckles in his pocket. Lighty~

Hermione. Death Bringers Member.

Appearance:

Can control almost every plant except trees, flowers without thorns, and anything that can't hurt another person in any way. She can talk to every plant, even those that she can't control. Rockpaw~

Madison. Death Bringers Member. Short athletic girl with brown hair and dark dark dark brown eyes. She usually wears a baggy shirt and shorts. Invisibility.

Silas. Death-Bringers. A tall boy with short, neat, black hair. He has cold, serious brown eyes and eyebrows that are almost always lowered in a no-nonsense expression. Silas looks about 18, if not in his early 20s. Silas can melt into shadows, take control of a person using their shadow, and travel through shadows. He can only control weak-minded people, but can control almost all animals through their shadows. He can also melt down into his own and walk off as a shadow of himself, literally. Silas can also form any shadow he'd like where there is enough darkness, but a bright ray of light can easily wound him if pointed directly at him. If strong enough, it can even kill him or leave him mortally wounded. If you've ever heard the saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover.", with Silas, it's the opposite. He's exactly how he looks; serious, quiet, suspicious, but he still has an air of mystery about him. Silas is fiercely loyal, but his cowardice betrays that. When things get too rough, he melts into a shadow and races away. He's also a bit judgemental, but can be kind if you treat him well. Silas is especially good with long-range weapons and daggers.

Mary Jane. Death-Bringers Member. Tall blonde girl with freckles across her nose. Can control anything to do with carpentry/Building. Will's girlfriend. Leopardstrike~

Jonah. Death-Bringers Member. A tall, tanned guy with dark hair and blond highlights which flop into his dark hazeland yellow eyes.Controls lightning. Can summon and bend it to his will even if there isnt a storm. Baylee's ex-boyfriend.

Grimm. Death-Bringers Member. Had shaggy light brown hair with green eyes. Always wears jeans and a black t-shirt, with many accessories and assorted jackets. Persuasion He's intimidating. CheeseStar~

Dahlia. Petite brown-haired girl with dark gray eyes. Friendly and sweet, she always has a ready smile on her face. Her skin is always pale, no matter how long she stays under the sun, although she gets rashes easily. No one has ever seen her get furiously angry, although there is rumor that Dahlia has a dangerous side. Hypnotizing others to do what she wants. Her power takes a lot of concentration, and she gets distracted easily. As she matures, however, it gets easier and easier to concentrate when she needs to. Aere~

Jackie and Jack wear a green baggy t-shirt and a pair of jeans and and old pair ot Osiris sneakers they have short brown hair, when Jack takes over the body changes to a boy. Jackie is not a conjoined twin, her brother and he are trapped in the same body, two people in one, lucky for Jack, Jackie is a tom-boy, to determine who is in charge is which way the hat is pointed, if its pointed back, Jack is in charge if in front, Jackie is in charge. Two people trapped in one body. Swiftshadow~

Prim. Life-Givers Second-in-command. Red-haired girl with green eyes. Always wears a striped hair band and some sort of dress. Can make people tell the truth easily under any condition Grimm's twin. CheeseStar~

Xurxo. Life-Givers Healer. Dark-haired teenage boy with long legs. He has dark brown eyes, though he claims them to be black at times. He has a somewhat quiet nature, and conserves his words, choosing them wisely. He speaks sometimes in proverbs, echoing the teachings of his deceased mother and Confucius, whom he respects. He solaces himself in times of stress with his violin, which can always be found in its case slung across his back. He always wears cargo pants or shorts, which contains his medical kit in the pockets. Can draw energy from the air and channel it to heal. He has uncanny healing powers, but cannot revive the dead. Though he might not look like a fighter, he can surprisingly hold his own in fight. He has not yet fully mastered his healing powers, and gets very emotional/discouraged if he fails to heal. Zephyra. Life-Givers Member. Tall, athletic girl with long, dark hair, olive skin, and blue eyes. Fast, intelligent, determined, friendly to those she knows. Agile, surprisingly strong from training with her sister. More trusting than Sala, about 14 years old. Controlling water in all its forms. Sala's sister. Also new to the Life-Givers. Unlike her sister, Zephyra is better with weapons like the sword, dagger, and longbow. Her preferred weapon is her special longbow that holds a dagger hidden in its body. She's ninja like.

Jaden. Life-Givers Member. Dark-haired teenage guy with glass-green eyes. He is tanned all year-round, since he enjoys being outside; being inside all the time makes him feel trapped, since he is very partial to his freedom. He is a natural leader, although he is rather on the quiet side. Control over the air. Jaden excels in all types of weaponry, although he is still experimenting with his power; his power over the air scares him at times, because it is hard to control. When his emotions is running high, it sometimes whirls out of control. (Ex. blows everyone over.) Aere~

Cassandra. Life-Givers Apprentice. She has long blond hair and blue eyes. She is 15 years old. Can change her appearance. (Eyes, hair, height, voice, etc.) Streamfur~

Alexa. Life-Givers Apprentice. Beautiful petite girl with fair skin. She has stunning long brown hair, sometimes she straightens it and sometimes she curls it. She is very shy and sweet around strangers but very fierce and strong. She's in the middle of being a girly girl and somewhat of a tom boy, and is a quick thinker. She is swift and graceful with her movements and has great posture and is very confident. Her age is about 16. Even though she's small and younger she is very fierce. She is kind, sweet and flirty. She is swift, fast and graceful and a great fighter. Controls fire. When she was little her dad had taught her how to use a sword and shield and she is INCREDIBLE at using the sword and a natural at other weapons.
When she's mad her eyes will glow to a bright orange but normally they are a beautiful golden color. Applefur~

Ike. Life-Bringers Apprentice. A young-looking guy with light-colored brown hair that looks red in the sun. Ike has brown-green eyes and short, but slightly messy, hair. He always has an optimistic look on his face and eyebrows often lowered in a michevious way. Ike can multiply himself to make up to 50 clones of himself at the same time. This also means he can do 50 different things and be at 50 different places at the same time. His clones are just like him, only weaker, dumber, and easier to kill. Once someone has killed a clone, Ike can't re-make him, and with each clone killed, he gets weaker. When the last clone is killed, Ike is extremely weak and vulnerable. If he only makes less than 50 though, he is capable of fighting back or running when all are killed. He will still be weakened though. Ike is extremely clever and he has been ever since he was young. He looks young and inexperienced, but because he knows his life is at stake if his clones die, he is very wary and usually only makes a few clones at first.

She reached the building and held the door for Xurxo, then entered and headed toward the meeting room, navigating the familiar hallways with ease. She saw a golden-eyed werecat and instantly knew who it was. "Hey Sala," she greeted her sister.

Baylee skipped into the room with her new pet loyally at her side. He was not even a year old but was tall, well-muscled, and a rather good looking dog. He was much larger than the rwgular dog and had mostly wolfy features. His hear was broad and had erect ears that were alert and had stunning dark green eyes. The brute had a burly body with thick chocolate brown fur and a tan undercoat. He already looked very wary of everything that came near to Baylee. Upon seeing Halt, it growled and snarled viciously, standing protectively in front of his owner. "Khalid! Calm down, boy! It's only my boyfriend, Halt." Baylee giggled, bending down and hugging her new protector. "Halt! Isn't he just adorable?! I love him so mich! They taught him from birth to protect me!" Baylee gushed. He blue eyes sparkled. She had changed into a rather short black and white dress with black and white cowboy boots and her hair in ringlets.

Xurxo whispered a word of thanks to Zephyra, and walked into the Life-Giver's building, the familiar smell of what he detected as chestnuts, in the air. "The meeting will start soon, but I'll have enough time to go experiment with the new samples," He strolled into his room, and straightened his microscope, putting the nectar from the strange flower on a slide. He brushed his hair out of his eyes, and took a look. Observing the intricate patterns in the fluid, he noticed an extra pair of n chromosomes present. "A extra pair of healing chromosomes," he mused to himself, and removed the slide, packing the precious nectar into his medical kit, and stuffing it in his pockets. Waiting absentmindedly for the meeting to start, he pulled out his violin, and strummed a few notes, the tones evolving into a beautiful melody.

Sala waved her tail gracefully when she saw her sister. "Did you have a nice morning?" She gave a throaty purr, winding once around Zephyra's ankles. Leaping up to sit on a small table, the black werecat settled down, eyeing her sister. Sala blinked, and her golden eyes turned into a violent shade of purple.

Halt smiled slightly, the corners of his mouth twitching up.There was a low growl that came from his left, and Halt immediately lifted his hand, snapping twice. The sound ceased in an instant, although he could still feel his pet's burning gaze glaring at the new creature. "Quiet, Lucifer." The panther sidled up to him, muscles rippling as it eyed Khalid. "Where is everyone?" Halt grumbled.

/Baylee held back a snapping Khalid. "It' alright! That's Luci! He won't hurt you." She soothed. The wolf stopped obediently but growled as Jonah strolled toward Baylee.

Jonah grinned at Baylee. Steeping close to her, his arms wound around her in seconnds, pulling her into a crushing hug. He hadnt seen her in a long time!

"Joney!!!!" Baylee squealed, hugging him back tightly. "I missed you! Where have you been?!" She asked with wide eyes.

Jonah looked at Halt with a smirk. A cocky, arrogant smirk meant to anger him. "Oh you know. Just on patrols. Your boyfriend's kept me away."then, a large dark lion crept toward Jonah and Baylee. He had shocking yellow eyes. "LIGHTNING!" Baylee cooed, bear hugging the creature whom purred fondly.

Halt raised his eyebrows and inclined his head slightly. The corners of his mouth tilted upwards slightly, but the smile never really reached his dark eyes. "Lucifer. Quiet." The black panther was growling again, his eyes malignant. Lucifer grew , broad shoulder shifting as he lay down, tail twitching. Halt leaned back against the desk, his face expressionless.

Jonah twirled Baylee into a kiss as she walked to go back to Halt. After Baylee pulled away, eyes wide in shock and fury, Jonah grinned wickedly. "Call it a welcome back kiss from you. I don't think your emotionless boyfriend would mind." A quirk in his eyebrow added to his darkly humorous expression. His hazel and yellow eyes bored into Halt's almost tauntingly.

Halt narrowed his eyes, forgetting about Will. His breath hissed out, anger flaming to life. Lucifer, sensing his anger, leaped to his paws, a full-throated snarl rumbling out from his jaws. Jealousy shot through him, and his hand fell almost instinctively to the hilt of his saxe knife. Halt glanced swiftly at Baylee, and doubt flooded his mind. She didn't seem that angry.... was she? "Back off, Jonah," he warned, still a little doubtful, although it didn't show. Halt glanced back down at his pet, who was still snarling. He leaned down, stroking a finger down the side of his head, tracing a line down to the corner of his golden eyes. Lucifer instantly recognized the old signal, and he leaped to his paws, sliding behind Halt as he padded closer to Baylee, tail swinging from side to side, his eyes watching Jonah.

Will quickly stepped in between Jonah and Halt. "Hold on a second. We're here to discuss and work together against the Life-Givers," he warned, the usual cheerfulness in his voice gone. His pet falcon was perched on his shoulder, golden eyes watching. Forcing a smile, he said," Everyone's here. Let's get in and start the meeting." He pushed the door to Halt's office open wide for them to enter.

Baylee was frozen in shock. However, Halt's angry voice snapped her out of it. With an angry and strangled growl, Baylee morphed into a panther. Claws slidding out, she pushed him away and slashed his chest. Lightning snarled, but decided it was better to catch his master instead of fighting. Khalid growled and snapped at Jonah, but silenced after Baylee shot him a glare. Changing back to her human form, Baylee frowned and smoothed her now crumpled dress. Petting Khalid then Lucifer, she stalked toward Halt with killer intent in her eyes. Grabbing him by the shirt, she crushed her lips to his and pulled back after a long while. "Yup. You're a way better kisser." She winked, hugging him.

Baylee had all but ignored Will. Finally noticing him, she smiled and hugged him breifly. "Thanks for the hwlp, Willy. Please take Jonah to the medic."

Jonah got to his feet. He buzzed with electricity as his anger rose once Baylee kissed Halt. "How could he ever be better than me?" He grumbled.

Halt was still flashing with anger, but he was now... pleased? He slid an arm around Baylee's waist and led her to the meeting room, his breath whispering across her neck. Lucifer prowled behind them, glancing threateningly over at Jonah from time to time. Sitting down at the head of the long table, Halt laid out his folders, and smiled warmly at Baylee, his dark hair flopping one of his eyes as he stroked Lucifer's head. The panther had come up behind him, sitting beside his master loyally.

Madison looked at Titus and smirked, "Bet you can't find me." she said playfully and dissapeared, she left footprints, wanting him to get used to her power. she laughed faintly and called his name quietly. "Titus, Titus." she caled and giggled to herself.

Jackie went to the outdoors and sent a call through her intercom, "Every Life-Bringer, come to the meeting room." they had an auditorium near so she called all of the Life-Bringers to discuss the Death-Bringers, they did this a lot, it helped them bond.

Jack heard the call and rode the wind into the auditorium and waited for everyone else to come.

Jeremy looked down at Titus and said "Now what have you done this time?" he asked, he quickly began to fix him up, he grabbed his first aid kit and grabbed a cotton swab, he wet it in peroxide and said "This might sting." he warned and wiped the scratches, he then sat him up and began to work on his back, he grabbed his water bottle and wet a wash cloth, he wiped everything off and applied bandages, he looked at Titus and said "Now lets get to the Meeting Room." he walked away with his first aid kist and his medicene bag to the meeting room.

Titus winced in pain, but smiled at his friend. "I underestimated my opponent." He shrugged. He got up and followed Madison. "Hey, we gotta go! We'll be late for the meeting." He said.

Baylee rolled her eyes at Will and followed Halt. Looking nack at Will, she stuck her tongue out. "You should listen to your second in command, Will." The girl teased. Looking at Lightning, she beacined the lion forward. Jonah lay draped on his back, sulking. Petting his mane, she whispered "Hey...can you take him to the medic?" The lion merely turned and loped toward his destination.

Khalid sat next to Baylee, head on her lap while she ran her fingers through his fur. Baylee's other hand was intertwined with Halt's.
