Mysterious Creature

Cheesefur sniffed the ground, looking for traces of prey. She stopped at an unfamiliar ditch (well, fell in.)
When she got up, all she saw was a huge, wet and smelly print of something not of the forest.

Tawnypelt poked her head from out of a bush, with a fat hare dangling from her jaw. "Wass wong?" She mumbled around the mouthful of fur, then dropped the prey on the ground. THen she sniffed, detecting something other than juicy meat. "Oh-eww," she exclaimed. "It smells like liquified fox dirt!"

Icestar sighed. "All my warriors, COME BACK HERE!! WE ARE HAVING A CLAN MEETING!!!!"

~Oh, whoops! I didn't read all the previous posts. I didn't read the part when you call a meeting. ~

Tawnypelt burst into the Shadowclan camp, bumped into a few other warriors, and skidded to a dusty halt at Cheesefur's other side. "Ah-huh," she panted,"Sorry-huh-I-huh-was-huh-hunting-huh," she huffed, trying to control her breathing.

"It has come to my attention that some giant monster thang is living on ShadowClan territory. If any patrol spots this, it is to send one member back to warn the camp, and the members are to spy on it untill I get there. Do not attack unless it attacks you first. Also, Kits should remain in camp at all times. Apprentices are not to go out without a warrior. Warriors, travel in packs three or greater. I dont intend to lose cats to this thing." Icestar dipped her head and waited for questions.

THis is what they are looking at. Well, someone has to decide what they are looking at.

(COOOL!!!) Silverstream woke from her doze. Where was Smallkit? "Oh NO!" She cried. "Iceclover, Iceclover!" She ran over to the leader, who had just had a clan meeting. "Smallkit is GONE!"

((Well, techincally, she didnt leave, because we ignored posts that ignored my clan meeting))

Most cats nodded although the apprentices sighed.
"Hey, Iceclover, can we do a patrol?" CHeesefur asked, pointing her nose in the direction of Tawnypelt and (well, someone else. and maybe an apprentice.)

"And apparently, Smallkit went wandering," she nodded to Silverstream. "We could take Tobi. Or Lizardstripe," she added. With Iceclover's consent (sorry about the kinda-god-modding), Tawnypelt and Cheesefur darted out of the camp. The elders, queens, and remaining kits bundled into the dens. Hopefully, they could track down the smelly creature and lure it away without killing it. Because if it already stinks alive, it's rotting flesh when it's dead will be worse.

"Bleh," Tawnypelt spat under her breath at the mere thought.

Cheesefur, Tawnypelt and Tobi? lizardstripe? i dunno. tracked down the scent(irritably) and found a pile of dung the size of the tree next to them.
"Oh, ewww!" the cats said.
Somewhere to the cats' left, a few birds fell out of a tree.

Tawnypelt padded over to the unconscious birds and prodded them with a cautious paw. Leaning in to take a sniff, she immediately recoiled. "Blech-those birds practically swam in that dung," she spat, rubbing her paw on some moss.

"How are we going to find out who made that, er, dirt if we can't get near enough without dying from that stench?" She gasped, trying to breathe without the smell bothering her.

((thats fine. I would have approved the patrol anyway))
"Shadowstorm, I would like you and Wildclaw to remain in camp and guard it in case this monster invades our camp. I will also stay here and cover if you want to go on patrols." Icestar flicked her tail, signifying the meeting was over.

Silverstream searched the camp franticly trying to find her lost kit.

Tawnypelt turned around to see Silverstream darting towards them.
"Did you find my kit?" She asked anxiously. "Well...no," Tawnypelt admitted. "We'll try," she added, trying to sound helpful, which was kind of hard to when you're standing next to a smelly pile of dung the size of a giant oak tree.

~hehehehe~ Silverstream padded away still searching for the kit.

Silverstream seemed to ignore the giant blob of dung (hehe i like that word...say it! duuuung! not going crazy here.) as she went about frantically.
"We need to move this dirt," Cheesefur mewed.
"Well, thanks for stating the obvious!" Whoever else came on the patrol except Tawnypelt spat.

Silverstream searched everywhere. She finaly found her kit huddling in an eagle nest. "What are you doing... HERE!!!???!!!" She cried franticly.

Just trying to make it interesting.* "How did you get up here, anyway???" She asked the shaking kit.

Before Smallkit could answer, an eagle swooped down and sat in the nest. "CAW CAW CAW!" It called. Silverstream noticed some eggs had been in the nest and were hatching. "Oh sh**!" She cried.

~Please, not profanity. I am pretty sure cats do not use language like that.~

Tawnypelt, who had been debating with some other cat about why they needed to move the pile of feces, heard loud caws of an eagle, and terrified squeak, and a desperate cry of help.

Everyone stopped arguing and turned their heads towards the sounds. "CAW CAW CAW!" The sound echoed. "Gaahh!" (that was a squeak, by the way). "Heeelp!" A familiar voice cried. "Silverstream," Tawnypelt muttered. They raced into the trees and saw Silverstream looking up at a tree with a huge nest, a huge eagle, and one terrified kit.

"Why is Smallkit there?!" Tawnypelt exclaimed. "I hope she knew better than to crawl INTO a nest!"
