Volepaw smiled at Petalpaw and whispered. "Thanks."

Cloudpaw purred watching Spottedkit. She pricked her ears and looked at Volepaw giving him a puzzled look. "Your leaving so soon? But its a kit!" Cloudpaw mewed softly. "Well, I want to go hunting with Petalpaw. Im so restless and ready to get out of camp too..." He mewed. Cloudpaw narrowed her eyes. "Fine." She growled. She whipped around to looked at Spottedkit and purred.

Volepaw narrowed his eyes at his sister and sighed. Sometimes Cloudpaw can be a pain in the tail. But now I get to go hunting with Petalpaw! He thought happily. "Ready when you are." He mewed turning to Petalpaw with a sly smile.

Bellawing smiled sarcastically, "Because they'll end up just like you, and I'm to good for you."

Tempestsoul followed Panther, "I'll help, too."

Silvermoon frowned. "He's lying in the forest unconcious!" she wailed. She buried her face in Crystallight's fur. "I hope he's okay," she whispered. She looked up when Ravenshadow and Bellawing came into camp dragging Darkfire. She ran over to him. "Oh Darkfire!" she wailed. "Mommy! What's wrong with mommy?" asked Darkkit. "And is Uncle Darkfire okay?"

Tempestsoul yelled, "Angelpaw! Mewfire! Someone help!"

Bellawing fought to keep Darkfire up, finding him heavier than she thought. Must be muscles, she thought. Wait...What am I thinking?! I can't believe I just thought that...I'm so crazy!

Panther supported a lot of Darkfire, moving gently. "What's this mousebrain been eating?" he grumbled.

Silvermoon glared at Panther. "He's strong! He could probably pick you up without breaking a sweat!" she snapped.

Tempestsoul growled, "Because Panther's so skinny."

Silvermoon turned her glare to Tempestsoul, but she said nothing. I hope he's okay.. I can't lose him again.. she fretted.

"DARKFIRE!" Godlenstream exclaimed. She ran to his rescue. "Angelpaw, what can you do?" Angelpaw started to clean it, then put cobwebs on his wound. Then, she pulled out the thorn that was in his paw. "There, now someone put him in the medicine cats den." she oudered. Goldenstream picked him up by the scruff, and dragged him into the medicine cats den, and laid by Darkfire, waiting for him to wake up.

Ravenshadow decided that Darkfire had others to take care of him. He went over to Bellawing. "Now...What's going to happen?"

Crystallight turned to Darkkit and the others. "Hush little one. I'm sure he'll be fine. Try to go to sleep. Mama will be back later."

Darkkit looked at Crystallight with big eyes. He obeyed her orders and went to sleep just as Silvermoon padded back into the nursery. "He-he'll be alright, I think," she said then plopped down. "Angelpaw took care of him." She yawned, tired and worried.

Bellawing was still furious, "They won't go to Rainbowclan. I'm sorry. Featherfire is just to full of hate."

Oakkit and Maplekit arrived at the farm where they were born. They made sure that no other cats saw them as Oakkit hunted a few mice and after the two kits ate they carefully sneaked past the barn. Oakkit got his fur snagged on a fur bush, and when he pulled himself free, it left a clump of his fur on the bush. Soon they came to the river and followed it to look for their father. "I hope that he's still following the river" Maplekit mewed. They were about to turn back when they picked up the scents of other cats. They ran closer to the scent and saw three cats. One of them looked like Oakkit and Maplekit. "Foxclaw?" they mewed.

"That's good to hear." Crystalight purred as she nuzzled and licked her mate. Resting her head beside Silvermoon she whispered. "Aside from you and the kits, Darkfire is the closet thing to family that I have here. I couldn't bare losing him anymore than you."

Ravenshadow sighed and walked closer to her. "I...Maybe you are right...Please let me talk to her. If this what you want then....Let's at least go back so...I can spend the night with them."

"You agree with me? You think she's to full of hate?" Bellawing asked in shock. "Then are you her mate?"

Darkfire groaned. He felt so much pain on the back of his head. His paw throbbed. "S.. Silver? Silvermoon?" he stammered. Everything looked blurry. He saw golden fur. "G.. Goldenstream?"

He sighed and shrug. "I...I'm not even sure anymore....But, I realize now what you have been saying about her. It's like she hasn't been any different two moons ago....Let's..just go back to the kits...We'll figure this out in the morning." He started padding back to ThunderClan nursery.

"You think she's full of hate?! Then why are you mates with her?" Bellawing asked persistently.

"Darkfire! Thenk goodness you're awake!" Goldenstream meowed happily. She licked his cheek, then meowed, "Oh, I forgot... We're waiting a few days..."

"I don't know...Being with you...has changed me a bit. And seeing you and her arguing while Darkfire was hurt...I don't want the kits to have to go through with that. Yours and hers..." Ravenshadow stopped and looked at Bellawing. "I need more time to think this through...And if the kits need to stay with you until then...Then we'll do that."

Darkfire groaned. "Er.. it's okay," he said. He struggled to sit up. He started to remember stuff he has heard while he was unconsious. He had thought it was just a dream. "Where's Tempestsoul?" he asked then added, "And Bellawing? And Ravenshadow? And Featherfire?" He looked around. "Where am I? And is Silvermoon back in the nursery?"

"Okay..." Bellawing walked back to Thunderclan camp, with him right behind her. Twilightkit bounced over to Ravenshadow and Bellawing. "Mommy! Daddy! Where were you? We were scared!" Twilightkit rubbed her head on Bellawing's leg, and Bellawing licked the tears off her face. Flarekit rolled his eyes, "I protected them." Harmonykit giggled, "You mean Snowpelt did?" Iriskit joined Twilightkit her light blue eyes full fo tears. She rubbed her head on Ravenshadow's leg. "Please don't leave us, Daddy," Iriskit squeaked. Bellawing looked at Ravenshadow, her icy blue eyes full of tears for when he would leave.

Panther sighed in annoyance and stalked into the shadows. "Skinny? Weak?" he scoffed. "I could kill that fatty in a heartbeat." he snarled, clawing his way up a tree.

Darkfire unsheathed his claws. "I'm getting this feeling that someone just called me fat," he growled.

Tempestsoul followed Panther, "What are you doing? I didn't mean you were weak. I just meant that you weren't fat, like Darkfire." She looked at her paws, "Sorry..."

Panther sighed. "no, what's her face implied I was weak. Not you." he growled with clear frustration that he was seen that way. (no offense to anyone with Panther's bad mouth and attitude. It's the char, not me.)
