Volepaw smiled at Petalpaw and whispered. "Thanks."

Cloudpaw purred watching Spottedkit. She pricked her ears and looked at Volepaw giving him a puzzled look. "Your leaving so soon? But its a kit!" Cloudpaw mewed softly. "Well, I want to go hunting with Petalpaw. Im so restless and ready to get out of camp too..." He mewed. Cloudpaw narrowed her eyes. "Fine." She growled. She whipped around to looked at Spottedkit and purred.

Volepaw narrowed his eyes at his sister and sighed. Sometimes Cloudpaw can be a pain in the tail. But now I get to go hunting with Petalpaw! He thought happily. "Ready when you are." He mewed turning to Petalpaw with a sly smile.

Tempestpaw laid next to a rock, her head on her paws. She watched Darkfire and smiled.

Silvermoons eyes widened. "Cool," she said after a moment. "That is so cool!"

Darkfire saw Tempestpaw and walked over to her. "Hey," he said. "What's up?"

"The sky," Tempestpaw giggled. "Last time I talked you, you didn't want me to hang out with you, though," She closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of the sun on her pelt.

"SSSSSHHHHHHHHH! If anyone else heard, I'm in serious trouble!" Angel hissed, trying not to sound harsh.

Goldenstream saw Tempestpaw looking at Darkfire. She padded over to him and whispered, "Maybe my plan wasn't such a good plan. Let's not wait two months. Let's wait no longer."

Tempestpaw looked taken back, "I knew it. Bye, Darkfire." Tempestpaw walked away with her head low, and her tail dragging on the ground. Then she shook her head and just got a little squirrel off the fresh-kill pile.

Darkfire chuckled. "Oh really? Then how come I WAS talking you and didn't tell you to buzz off?" he teased. Darkfire's ear twitched. He looked at Goldenstream. "Huh?" he said. He saw Tempestpaw walk away. "Hold up, Goldenstream." he ran after Tempestpaw. "Wait, wait! Knew what?" he called after her.

"Okay okay! Sheesh!" said Silvermoon. She added after a moment, "Are you gonna tell Crystallight?"

Goldenstream felt betrayed. "He didn't even listen to me..." she whispered, but she waited for him anyways.

Tempestpaw looked up, "Hmm? Oh, nothing. Just that Goldenstream would always interrupt you when you talked to someone else."

Darkfire stared at Tempestpaw then looked back at Goldenstream. "Well, it's not her fault," he stammered. "She might have something important to say." He searched his head for another explanation. When he couldn't find one he looked at Tempestpaw with distressed eyes.

Tempestpaw tried her best to smile, but it came out weakly. "It's alright, just go to her," Tempestpaw muttered and walked out.

Darkfire watched as Tempestpaw walked out. He ran to Goldenstream and touched his muzzle to her ear. "I'm so sorry but I have to make it up to Tempestpaw. I'll talk to you later, k?" he whispered in her ear. He ran after Tempestpaw. "Hey!" he called when he reached her. "Let me make it up to you somehow," he begged.

"Make what up to me? We were just talking, it's nothing," She said matter-of-factly.

Darkfire looked at Tempestpaw. "So? I feel like I have to make it up to you," he explained. "You seemed sad and I don't want you to think that I don't want to hang out with you." He looked at her hopefully.

"That's not the problem, trust me. Just go talk to Goldenstream," Tempestpaw bit int her squirrel.

"Then what is?" demanded Darkfire. "I'm gonna keep annoying you until you tell me!" He frowned. He wanted to know what the problem was so he could make it up to her but she wasn't letting him.

"It's not your problem, alright? Just go back to Goldenstream," She mewed coldly.

"Well if I'm the problem then it is," he growled. "Fine." He stalked off back to Goldenstream. "So what's up?" he asked her, still fuming about Tempestpaw.

Tempestpaw sighed, "If only he understood..." No, she thought, if only I had the courage to tell him...

Darkfire glanced back at Tempestpaw. He wondered what was going through her head now. I wonder what's the matter with her? he thought.

A tear ran down her face, No...It just couldn't happen. Why am I thinking like this?! He...he has a mate...What's wrong with me?!

Crystallight's eyes widen as she strained to hear every word Angel was talking about. She was surprised to hear about how her friend had powers from StarClan. "Yes I'll swear by StarClan too." She mewed reassuringly. Her stomach rumbled a bit, and she licked her kits who were still nursing. "Now...Could you maybe bring us something to eat please? And I'm not sure if we need borage leaves yet, but they might help."

"Go home?...." Ravenshadow repeated the words Bellawing said to him. He felt a slight pain in his heart. "But..what about the kits?....They're eyes haven't even opened up yet."

Darkfire glanced back one last time and saw a tear running down Tempestpaws face. "Hey! You alright?" he asked her with concern.

Silvermoon purred as her kits stumbled over each other. "So adorable," she purred. She felt a little hungry. "Hungryy," she said with a short laugh.

"I heard you talking to Featherfire. You want to go home. And I couldn't cause you any more pain than I already have," Bellawing turned the other way, trying to hide her tears.

Tempestpaw wiped the tear off her face, "I'm fine."

Darkfire gazed at her wondering if she was actually alright. "Okay then," he said then turned back to Goldenstream. Temepestpaw was puzzling him.

Tempestpaw curled up in her Apprentice Den, "No one loves me.."
