Illusionflame pricks her ears to the north, and thought she heard a roar, but just shakes her head and ignores it.

"Sure Illusionflame!" Brindleheart replied. "Firesoul, want to come with me?" She looked at him hopefully,tail flicking."

Marrowsky heard the cry of Stormpaw. Dropping the moss beside the log, he sprinted as fast as his tiny legs could go. It took him a long time, but he reached camp just as a patrol was going out. "Please help Stormpaw! He's fighting a bear! Come quick, follow me!"

Illusionflame looked up fearfully, instincts taking over, "Brindleheart, I think that patrol might have to wait. Firesoul, Blackmagic, and Phantompaw, could you come help? Were going to need as many paws to help Stormpaw." Oh how I hope hes ok...

The bear flipped him off and pinned him down roaring in his face louder then ever. I can do this! He thought fiercely. Slithering out of its grasp using all his strength they scratched and snarled at each other. Both eyes narrowed in hatred. The bear sent down an unexpected blow and sent him flying. Stormpaw struggled to his paws staggering slightly. He bared his teeth. Time to end this!! Racing forward gathering all his strength he raced forward plunging his claws deep into the bears neck. It was over. The bear gave one last long loud sad roar and fell to the ground. Stormpaw stood eyes wide. His breathes were quick and shaky and he whispered, "I-I did it..."

Marrowsky leaped through the ferns in an attempt to retrace his steps. He smelled Stormpaw's blood; plenty of it. The others followed behind. When they reached the fallen log, they could see the bear's body and Stormpaw. The moss was stained with blood.
"What... happened?" Marrowsky asked, shaking.

~Firesoul or Fireblaze, Lightningstorm? You told me Fireblaze but now everyone is calling you Firesoul...~
Dawnpaw went out to look for her mentor (Canyoneclipse?), when she saw Stormpaw and the bear. "STORMPAW! Are you okay? What happened?" she barked worridly.

Redstar look all around for Illusionflame. He couldn't find her anywhere around the camp. He walked into the forest and smelt bear. He followed the scent and saw Stormpaw and a bear. The bear was dead. "Stormpaw, what happened here? Did... did... you kill this bear?" Redstar asked, worried about his apprentice. "Mallowsky, take Stormpaw back to camp and tend to his wounds. Stormpaw, I will see you in my den afterwards." After that, Redstar galloped (XD) back to camp to see if Illusionflame was back yet. "Illusionflame?" he called.

it's Marrowsky

"I'll get right on it. Somebody please help me carry some moss back to press onto those wounds. We should have enough herbs and poppy seeds to help out." Supporting Stormpaw with his shoulder, the small chi-beagle () dragged Stormpaw back to camp. He pressed some moss into his wounds and brought out some marigolds. "These are bad wounds... he'll be immobilized for a while," Marrowsky muttered to himself.

Dawnpaw ran back to camp and stood in front of the entrance to MARROWsky's (LOL I said it right!) den and barked, "May I come in, Marrowsky? Is Stormpaw okay?"

it's an easy mistake
"Come in," Marrowsky winced. "Stormpaw is in a very bad condition right now, but he'l survive. He won't be able to leave the medicine den for a little while. His muscles have been badly torn in some areas." He took some moss from Jasminedream. "Thank you." Adding to Stormpaw's bedding, he carefully removed the old moss and tossed it in the leafy corner.

Dawnpaw slowly walked into Marrowsky's den to see Stormpaw covered in blood. "Stormpaw... I hope you get better soon..." Dawnpaw whispered. Redstar looked through the entrance and asked, "May talk to Stormpaw? Or do I need to wait?"

Fireblaze padded into camp, his eyes void of emotion. "He'll be fine." he said coldly to Dawnpaw.

Illusionflame quietly comes up behind Redstar, and lays her tail on his shoulder, "I heard you were looking for me? That apprentice of ours was very brave of him to take on such a big task." She barks.

Redstar turned around and saw Illusionflame. "I-I wanted to ask you something. Do you want to go for a border patrol? Just me and you? I want to talk to you, and make sure there are no bears." Redstar barked.

Illusionflame blushed lightly (do dogs blush? ) and pawed the ground, "Sure...Just have some warriors gaurd the camp while were gone..." She smiled cautiously at Redstar.

"Good idea. BLACKMAGIC, BRINDLEHEART AND DESERTMOON! Please guard the camp while Illusionflame and I are gone." Redstar shouted. Then he walked towards the entrance and asked Illusionflame, "Are you coming?"

Illusionflame blinks once, and nods, "I am." She walks behind Redstar, keeping her ears pricked for bears.

Once the cats were away from camp, Redstar barked, "Illusionflame, I-I feel that we don't talk to eachother enough anymore, I mean, besides patrols and things like that. I want us to talk about other things... like how we feel about eachother..." He trailed off, then whispered, "I want to have kits."

Illusionflame stood quietly for awhile after her leaders confession. Could we have kits? I do want to.... Whispering she replies, "I feel the same way for you Redstar," Gently, and cautiously she leans into his shoulder and confirms her feelings to him, "I think I love you, Redstar..."

"I think I love you too, Illusionflame."Redstar smiled, and then wondered, Does she want to have kits? He stood there for a minute and then asked her once more, But what do you think about kits? I know we've adopted Phantompaw, but I want kits that are actually ours."

Illusionflame paws at the ground, then answers, "I do." She looks up into her leaders deep blue eyes and smiles softly. "The pack is going to be proud to have nice strong pups."
