Blackmagic rolled his eyes and carried on, he quickly hurried through his hunting patrol, only managing to catch a Hare,two mice, and one starling before he hurried back to camp.

Stormpaw padded into camp holding up his hare and squirrel and trying not to let it drag on the ground. The young apprentice clumsily dropped the prey onto the fresh kill pile and smiled. Padding up to Redstar he barked, "What do you want to do?" He asked wagging his tail eager to learn more and become the best warrior he can be. And maybe even deputy!? A thought drifted across his mind. It had many times before. Of course! He thought answering his own question.

Marrowsky sniffed around, his tiny body quivering with every step. "Redstar, I've renewed the scent markings on the territory. We may still have a few wolves or bears in the area though, they're tough competitors." Padding away, he picked up a thrush from the fresh-kill pile and went to eat somewhere else.

Brindleheart wagged her tail and opened her jaws in a friendly, wolfish grin. "Its a good day for hunting," she announced, to no one in particular. "Anyone want to go hunting with me?"

Gulping down the last of the thrush and spitting out the feathers, Marrowsky stood up. Shaking his tiny head, he barked (?) "I'll come with you. I think I might have ate one of the last pieces."

Phantompaw gloomily rolled about on the ground, his sleek black fur covered with dust. Its so boring, he grumbled to himself. There's nothing to do. He let out a huge yawn, revealing his long sharp teeth.

Canyoneclipse sat next to Desertmoon, his sister. "I`ll come hunting." He stood up, stretching his long body. "You up for hunting, Desert?" "Sure!" They raced to the camp entrance, side by side. Desertmoon wagged her tail excitedly.
Desertmoon showed more of her mother, the coyote size, and body. She has long legs, and always pricked ears. Canyoneclipse showed more of his father, the muscled, long legged, and big paws of a wolf.
~Lol! Brightstar used the same breed of dog as me! That`s funny. ~

Stormpaw raced toward Canyoneclipse and Desertmoon. "Can I come?" He asked wagging his tail with a smile. He puffed out his chest and his muscles rippled under his fluffy sleek pelt. Raising his head he added, "Im as fit as any warrior! I can hunt! And if needed I can fight." He barked with a sly smile.

"Of course you can!" Desertmoon smiled at the pup. She leaned down and whispered into his ear "We can practice your fighting on Canyon, ok?" She stood up again, trying not to trip over the excited puppy.

Stormpaw bounced on his paws and gave a small nod. "Lets go!" He barked and raced out of camp his big paws silently pounding on the forest floor. Carefully he scented around him and hid in a small bush keeping quiet. Haha! Im going to surprise Canyon! He thought suppressing his giggle. His blue eyes slowly peeked out through the bush's branches. Keeping his eyes to slits he smiled.

Blackmagic saw the three dogs getting ready to head out but he just blinked annoyed that he never went on patrols with people. But then he just looked at the fresh kill pile to see it was empty. Then Blackmagic got to his paws and padded across the clearing.

Canyoneclipse was stalking a deer, hiding, with Desertmoon on the other side. Where`s that apprentice...? He scented the air for the young pup, but, at that moment, the deer ran and Desertmoon jumped on an elderly deer, pinning him to the ground. Canyoneclipse ran to help her. He bit the neck until the body stopped moving. "Hey, where`s that apprentice?" Desertmoon acted like she didn`t hear Canyon. "I`ll go look for him." "You do that."

Firesoul padded out of his den with a large yawn. His firey eyes scanned the clearing. He saw a gllomy Phantompaw and padded over. "What's wrong?" he asked, his voice sounding like a growl. He didn't mean to sound like that, it was his real voice.

Swiftpaw padded over to Phantompaw "Hey! Wanna fight?" She growled and got ready to pounce, baring her teeth.

Firesoul snorted in amusement at Swiftpaw. He then stalked away to the freshkill pile.

Brindleheart nodded at Marrowsky. "How about later? I think I might eat something first." Pricking her ears, she trotted over the the fresh-kill. "Hi Firesoul," she barked, her tail swinging back and forth.

Phantompaw looked up to see Firesoul. He shrugged. "There's nothing to do," he drawled, getting to his paws. The Doberman turned when he heard someone calling his name. It was Swiftpaw. "Sure," he growled.

Illusionflame quietly came up behind her leader, and barked smoothly, "Hey? Want to go for a walk? I heard theres plenty of squirrels roaming the trees today. I already sent out patrols, the borders have been quiet also, so I doubt there will be any sneak attacks." She tried to keep her voice smooth, though it cracked embarassingly at the end. She tried her best to ignore her leaders brilliant blue eyes. He couldn't like me... could he? He never showed anything...

~Is there like other packs/clans? Or is it just Dogclan?~

"No problem." Marrowsky replied at Brindleheart. "I think I'll go by myself. I need to collect some more borage leaves for breeding season. The weather's good this year, the pups will probably be healthy." He began to pad out of camp. "Illusionflame, I'm going out solo," he noted to the deputy.

Illusionflame looked away from Redstar, and nodded at Marrowsky, "Okay."

Stormpaw waited in the bush. Getting bored he scented the air. The smell of bear filled his nose and his eyes grew wide. I should warn Canyoneclipse and Desertmoon! He thought. Just about to run to get them he froze. The bear was close and hadn't detected him. What if I killed it? I'd be a legend! I can ambush that bear. Yeah... He thought. Worry flooded him and a quiet voice whispered Be careful. This is very risky Getting to his paws he peeked out of the bush. The bear was nearby scuffing around not paying attention whatsoever. Silently, he dug his claws into the tree nearby and launched himself in it quietly noting not to shake any leaves. Stalking onto a branch that was over the bear he wanted to run. Should I? He thought shaking.

Marrowsky padded around a fallen tree. He had noticed an irresistible clump of fresh, dry moss and could not resist. Digging his small claws into the moss, he began to rip it out in sheets. The smell of damp wood was overpowering. He didn't notice any other scents around the area.

hey Applefur... if you want my character can be ambushed by the bear and such.. idk. o.O

Brinleheart stretched and called over to Illusionflame, "Do you need any patrols to go out? I can go after I take a bite to eat."

Illusionflame flicks a leaf off her back with her tail that had fallen from the trees, and replies to Brindleheart, "There's already a lot of hunting patrols out and by the time they get back I bet our fresh kill pile will be full. Maybe take two warriors and do a border patrol? If the borders are fine, then you may hunt if you like. Otherwise, if you find anything unusual, check in with me or Redstar." She smiles at her clanmate, happy that everyone was in good spirits.

~XD Cheesestar that kind of made me laugh. Well, Stormpaw isnt gonna die and the medicine cat cant die so the bear will and Stormpaw can kill it if that's alright but he'll be pretty hurt~

The bear lifted its head and gave a kind of sinister smile. Wanting to scream out Marrowsky's name he had to wait. Not yet, wait for it...wait for it He thought. Following the bear he jumped to another branch. The bear let out a bellowing roar and Stormpaw howled launching himself at the bear. "Run Marrowsky! Go get help now!" He managed to howl before the bear threw him off. Stormpaw's claws scratched the bear deep in the shoulder. It roared and focused on him. Good focus on me. Not Marrowsky. Snarling he leaped onto the bear shredding its ears fiercely.
