"Moonlight, stay in camp with us just in case if bears attack." Redstar instructed.

"We'll go when Roscoe tells us." Cleatus growled.

"Okay, Redstar," said Moonlight. "I'm gonna go sit by the entrance... AGAIN." Moonlight got up and walked over to the entrance. She kept listening to see what would happen next and what would be said next.

"Okay then," said Arabelle. It hurt her to see Cleatus like this, but she understood what he felt. She sat down next to him closely.

Brackenheart got to his paws and joined Desertmoon and Swiftpaw. "Sure." He said with a smile.

Roscoe looked at Cleatus. "You may go. Im going on a walk and catching prey as I go." He growled. Getting to his paws he shook out his pitch black fur and out of camp.

Massie stood up on her back legs and sniffed the air. "The scent of prey is coming from the west, near the lagoon. Let's go."

"Thanks, Roscoe. Let's go, Arabelle." Cleatus growled.

"what's happening?" Brindleheart asked, coming back from her hunting trip, her jaws laden with prey. She looked curiously at Brackenheart.

"I'm going with you," Wyrden said firmly. He got to his paws and shook his massive head "Lead on," Massie."

While walking through the silent glade, Massie asked, "When are we going to attack? We can't give those dogs too much time to plan and prepare. They might have the same idea as us and recruit more of their mangy kind."

"I know a few bears that'll help." Cleatus growled. He wasn't born in BearClan. He was born in the mountains, and he and six more bears traveled down here and joined BearClan. The other six bears names were Isabelle, Woodrow, Angila, Titus, Kennley, and Avy. The five bears that're alive live towards the lake, which is not far away at all. "Follow me to the lake."

Wyrden nodded. "I know of a group of bears that live beside the stream that heads out toward the sea... They like to catch the salmon there. 7 bears total. Niernen, Vervada, Albitr, Istrali, Hvitr, Deloi, and Kveykva... (Strange names, right? xD) We can go there after we find the other bears."

Once the bears made it (Can they have already made it?) to the lake, Cleatus shouted, "Isabelle, Woodrow, Angila, Titus, Kennley, we need your help!" Five bears walked out from the cave, and Woodrow growled, "Cleatus? Hi. What do you need?" "To defeat a Clan of Dogs. They killed Avy-" "THEY KILLED AVY?! They're going to get it!" Kennley snarled. Kennley always liked Avy. "Will you help us defeat the dogs?" Cleatus asked. "What's in it for us?" Titus spat. "Becoming part of BearClan." Cleatus replied. "I'm in!" Isabelle growled happily. "I'll go." Kennley and Woodrow said in unison. "What do you think, Angila?" Titus asked. Angila is very quiet. She only trust's Titus and people she truly knows. "Ok." Angila growled quietly. "We'll all help." Titus growled. "Good. Come with us." Cleauts ordered. "Fine." Woodrow replied. The five bears followed Cleatus, and then Cleatus growled to the other bears, "Ready to go?"

"okay," Wyrden replied. "Lets go."
[We're at the stream place now! xD]
Wyrden left the bank of the stream and padded into the trees. Within a few minutes, he had come upon a cave. A small polar bear stood at the entrance, obviously keeping guard. The second she saw Wyrden, the polar bear turned back into the cave and roared, "Hvitr!" A big black bear nosed his way out of the cave. "Wyrden! Who are the bears with you?!"

"We are bears of BearClan. We come in peace. Wydren will tell you why we're here." Cleatus replied to Hvtir.

Massie shifted uncomfortably between the familiar bodies of her Clanmates. The new bears smelled quite strange but they looked fit and healthy. These bears would know how to take down dogs.

"Cleatus, will you just take us back to your 'Clan'? We would like to look around." Woodrow growled. "Follow me." Cleatus replied, "See you guys later. I'm going to introduce them to Roscoe." Cleatus and the others trotted along in the forest until they went inside the camp. "Here's our camp. That's the warriors den, which is where you'll sleep, that's the nursery, where the queens and their cubs stay, that's the apprentices den, where the apprentices sleep. Apprentices are the young bears that are still learning to hunt and fight. And over there is the leaders den, which is where Roscoe sleeps. The fresh-kill pile is over there and the dirt place is over there." Cleatus growled, pointing everything out, "I'll tell Roscoe to wake up and see you. Stay there." Cleatus walked into Roscoe's den and growled, "Roscoe, wake up. There are five bears who want to help us defeat the dogs."

"Hopefully not all of the doggypets around here were killed, because we need recruits, wild or not." Redstar barked.

Marrowsky nodded. "Bears are big creatures. They're strong, but not nimble and swift as we are. Sometimes we may even outsmart them. The fastest way to eliminate the bears would be to push them over the cliff on the far side, just east of our territory. But either way the nursery and elder's dens are secure."

Arabelle followed Cleatus around quietly. She observed everything that was happening. She was good at observing a situation and coming u with a plan quickly.

"What should I do?" barked Moonlight knowing the situation was dire.

"Come with me, Moonlight. We need to get doggypets to help us. Apprentice age." Redstar replied to Moonlight. "Does anyone else want to go?"

"Okay!" barked Moonlight. She followed Redstar.

"I'll go too," Brindleheart declared, and trotted after Moonlight.

"I'll explain later... we should go now," Wyrden rumbled gruffly to Hvitr. Hvitr eyed him. "Dogs? Dogs are pests... remember the time--" Before he could go any further, a pearly-white polar bear squeezed out of the cave and looked around. "Come on, Hvitr, no time for stories," she said. "You heard what Wyrden just said!" Hvitr looked disgruntled, but made no arguement. "Alright," he agreed reluctantly, and turned to the other polar bear that was guarding. "Albitr, get everyone else, would you? Let's go..."
[Now they reached camp already.]

Marrowsky barked "I'd like to go, too, if that's not too many dogs. We'll need a lot of help and the younger ones could get lost along the way. They may not be trained, either. We'll need to just have them set up as guards to give the illusion of more dogs. Hopefully with us, the bears won't get that far."

Massie entered the camp following the stream-side bears. The camp was bustling with activity; bears were sharpening claws on rocks or heavily feeding on the rapidly shrinking pile of fresh-kill. The bears hesitated before they nudged them into the camp.

"You may come, Marrowsky, but no more dogs, please." Redstar barked.

Roscoe lifted his head and smiled at Cleatus. "Thank you very much Cleatus. Walking out of his den he saw the new recruits and padded over to them. With every step the ground shook. Smiling he bellowed, "What are your names. Also do you know why your here?" He asked them raising his eyebrows (wait do bears have eyebrows? lol) and looking at them calmly.

Brackenheart padded after Redstar. "Could you add one more? Im very helpful." He asked hopefully eyes shining. He smiled and raised his eyebrows slightly. (Im not sure if dogs have eyebrows either )

"Are we going to use meat to lure them out, Redstar?" Marrowsy asked. "I'm guessing the stronger ones probably have a taste for meat over that Twoleg mush."

~Dogs do have eyebrows, Applefur! And still covering for mama!~
"This is the last dog. Let's go. And yes, Marrowsky, we're going to us meat. But where are we going to get it...?" Redstar barked.

"We could get prey and lure them with the smell." Brackenheart suggested. "It might not work but if the prey is a deer it could be enough the lure them to us." He added. Hmmm it would be dangerous though... He thought worry for his clanmates washed over him and his eyes slightly widened. "We need to be careful though." Brackenheart barked to himself.
