Iceclaw' Suggestion... Awards?

Heya everyone! I'd like to voice my suggestion so here goes!~ WHHHEEEEEEEEEE~

How about a WCF awards? Awards for members on the forum. It could happen annually and would be some kind of main event.

Members will then vote for other members for who they think is the best...
Things like:

Best Artist
Best Roleplaying Member
Best Writer

Since you said everyone should be honest I have to say: People might just vote for their friend, or their mate, instead of who they think is the best.

I agree though Riversplash... I think maybe Dragonclaw has a way of seeing who voted for who, then he'll know! XD

thanks for seeing it as not mean. People here do nothing but give me thumb downs. Sometimes it makes me really sad, because I am a nice cat. People just search for the negative. I'm going to make a rp i think.

Its alright Riversplash! I can understand that you're not intending to be mean. I try not to give negative votes as much as I can. Maybe you could try improving your writing. Sometimes the way you write makes others think that you're trying to insult them. You could add a smiley face here and there to lighten things up. An rp sounds cool. I'll join.

i like the idea iceclaw , but i agree with riversplash, that they would just vote for friends and not the best. maybe if dragonclaw was the one to pick the overall winner, it would be more fair.

i guess it would be pretty unfair... it would be a really fun idea, though. if there were some fair way of judging i would definitely say yes. ^^

and Riversplash, everyone is already warming up to you! you have a rep of ten now. it's kinda hard to be sad in a group of happy, accepting cats isn't it? we're also really forgetful and random. if you do something wrong, people won't hate you for it as much as you think.

Great! XD I think that there are many talented members here who deserve an award! Perhaps there should be a dateline for the votings and members should state who they voted for. Dragonclaw could probably tally up and see whether its correct [hopefully]~

we could all PM dragonclaw out votes. that'd spam his inbox though, and different vote times might be inefficient and confusing. my unit on government and politics is rubbing off on me... e.e

but PMing would be an easier way for dragonclaw to know who voted for who and nobody else would know unless you wanted them too.

Haha I have trouble understanding what you said... so you mean, there should be a staff whose in charge of these awards? Oh and what set of standards do you mean? Ideas?

Lol yes. That's exactly what I said Iceclaw.

I mean standards as you you must be actively and constantly be contributing to the storyline in RPGs to be able to be nominated for the RPG award or you can't post RPGs that are shorter than 5 lines. Things like that.

Okay. I get it. First we need to deal with the RPG issue first. Let's deal with this topic later.

This will be considered. We may host an awards ceremony sometime.
