"Yes, they tried to recruit Hailpaw." Stonepaw mewed. "Cuz I was jealous of Stonepaw's popularity." Hailpaw blushed.

"Well, StarClan is going to start to recruit apprentices too," Rippleheart announced.

Cherryblossom padded up to Rippleheart Pinefur by her side. "Whats going on?" She asked.

"We were almost warriors...Will we still recieve our warrior names?" Hailpaw asked, nodding hello to the new cats.

"I want to train Firepaw... Did you two know Firepaw?" Fallensnow asked, her beautiful blue eyes glimmering with hope.

"Yes." they nodded.

Fallensnow's eyes lightened. "How is he? Is he ok? I miss him so much... You see, he is my kit..." Fallensnow mewed.

"He's great and very kind. All the she-cats moon over him." Stonepaw laughed.

"Hmhm. Cute. I wish I could see im just one last time..." Fallensnow meowed softly.

"Don't you watch over him?" Hailpaw asked.

"Well, yes, I do, but I want to go down there and accually see him..." Fallensnow explained.

"I see..." Hailpaw mewed. Stonepaw sighed. "I wonder what Lightningpaw'll do when she find's out I'm dead." he mewed sadly.

"Lightningpaw? Who's Lightningpaw?" Fallensnow asked.

"The she-cat he's mooning over." Hailpaw snorted. stonepaw just blushed flusteredly, he hadnt meant to say that out loud.

"I understand, don't be embarrassed! When I was an apprentice I mooned over Whitefang..." Fallensnow tailed off as a figure came out of the blue. It was Whitefang. "Whitefang, what happened?! Why are you here?!" Fallensnow shouted. "I fell into the gorge and I drowned..." Whitefang trailed off, "But at least I get to see you now..." "But what about Firepaw?! He has no parents!" Fallensnow meowed worridly. "Don't worry, he's a warrior now. He can take care of himself." "What's his warrior name?" Fallensnow asked. "Fireblaze." Whitefang replied. "Fireblaze... I love it!" Fallensnow meowed.

"Wow. How'd they react to our deaths?" Hailpaw asked curiously.

Cherryblossom narrowed her eyes confused. "What do you mean train?" She asked.

"Kinda like we're mentors and they're our apprentices." Fallensnow explained.

Flameflicker nodded beside Fallensnow and she meowed "Yes you know to prevent the destruction of the clans!"

"Sounds interesting...can we be mentors?" Stonepaw asked.

"Maybe. That's up to Yellowfang. I'll get her." Fallensnow meowed, "YELLOWFANG!" "What?" Yellowfang meowed, looking irritated. "These two apprentices want to be mentors for training the apprentices." Fallensnow explained, "Is it ok if they can be mentors?" "Show me your moves." Yellowfang meowed to Hailpaw and Stonepaw.

Flameflicker nodded and purred "Of course sweetie! Now show Yellowfang your moves!" she sat back beside Fallensnow and purred "Kitkat18 is a hard little cat to handle but now she knows the secret......" then she pricked her ears as they fought.

Stonepaw circled his brother, his eyes narrowing. Hailpaw watched his brother, planning his stratigey. Finally, Hailpaw lunged at Stonepaw. Stonepaw sidestepped and smacked his brothers muzzle. Hailpaw shook his head and rammed into Stonepaw. Stonepaw skidded a bit but otherwise didn't move. They then started dealing hefty blows at eachother, meeting eachother hit for hit. There was no way for the other to win.

Cherryblossom purred. "I might train my daughter. Even though she's an excellent warrior every cat has room for improvement." Cherryblossom giggled and sat down beside Flameflicker watching the two apprentices. Pinefur sat beside his mate. "I wonder who I'll train?" He asked his mate with a cool smile. "Im not sure. You could get Sootpaw and train her kits." Cherryblossom suggested. Pinefur shurgged still debating whether or not to train an apprentice or not.
