Cheetahstar nodded in agreement. "Im ready to go get a hare." Cheetahstar mumbled licking her lips.

Riversplash ran into Leopardstars den. "Have you decided which cats we`re going to bring? We need to hurry, we only have a little while before the Gathering, and they`ll need to get their sleep." She mewed and sat down next to Leopardstar.

"If they don't come now we'll have to start without them!" Cheetahstar growled. She pricked her ears as she saw a rabbit from a bush eyeing all the cats. She leaped down adn raced toward the bush so fast the rabbit couldn't move. Cheetahstar smiled and picked up the dead rabbit toward Whispersoul.

Fadingstar entered, way behind his Clan. "Sorry I'm late." he puffed. He brushed past Whispersoul, breifly licking her on the forehead.

Cheetahstar smiled. "Its alright. Now we have to wait for the others. How are you Fadingstar?" She asked him.

"I am good. About to be a father." he said proudly.

Cheetahstar smiled warmly. "Whispersoul told me. Congrats. I have had my kits. Windkit and Harekit two strong toms. Runningwind is thrilled to be a father." Cheetahstar purred.

"Congradulations! I hope they grow to be strong and healthy warriors." Fadingstar replied politely.

Cheetahstar raised her head proudly. "Thank you. And best wishes to Whispersoul and the kits." Cheetahstar added.

"Thank you. I wonder if the other leaders and Clans are ok...they're taking quite a while to arrive." he mewed, searching for the missing cats.

Cheetahstar nodded in agreement. "I wonder..." She whispered. She started to worry. "Hmmm."

Whispersoul glanced at Cheetahstar and Fadingstar, and mewed worridly " Do you think they are ambushing our camps?!" her eyes grew dark, and she narrowed her eyes to slits and searched the clearing, and snorted " Well I think its a little cold to be waiting here like frightend rabbits!" then a russtle in the bushes dierected her attention to the far side of the clearing, and the hair on the back of her neck bristled and she mewed quietly " Fadingstar, Cheetahstar....whats that over there?"

Cheetahstar got to her paws. She jumped down and slowly padded toward where Whispersoul was talking about.

Whispersoul shuffled closer to her mate, and looked closely at the bushes and realized in horror That might be Lionclan and Lepoardclan!!!

Cheetahstar snarled. "Come on out and meet our clans claws!" She growled.

"Keep the peace. StarClan'll be angry if we don't." Fadingstar warned, stepping protectively in front of the she-cats. (Mostly in front of Whispersoul )

Whispersoul peeked from behind Fadingstar, and mewed to the shadow gently " If you come out, we won't attack you!" her gentle soothing mew filled the tense clearing and soothed the frightend apprentices and elders. The bushes russtled louder and Whispersoul mewed happily " Thats it, come on out!"

Fadingstar narrowed his eyes, silently warning them that if they tried anything...they'd regret it.

Cheetahstar growled and unsheathed her claws. She pushed past Fadingstar. I dont need protecting! She thought. She snarled. "Come out!"

"Please calm yourself, Cheetahstar." Fadingstar soothed.

The bushes rustled and a small kit bounded out, his eyes awide with terror and he cried " Please don't hurt me! I got lost from my mama Sprinkles while we were moving with our housefolk so I though you guys would be friendly....." Whispersoul cried out " You poor thing! Fadingstar, we need to get him back to camp for a good wash and meal!" Whispersoul's eyes grew pleading as she looked at her mate.

"Okay..." Fadingstar sighed. "Keep him with you until the gathering ends though." he mewed.

Whispersoul purred with delight and turned to the little kit and noticed he was drenched in snow and was shaking, and so she worridly exclaimed " Poor kit, I need to warm you up before you catch your death!" Soon she was finshed washing the kit and embarssaly exclaimed " Oh my! I forgot to tell you my name, I am Whispersoul! And whats your name?" The little kit looked up, his black pelt sparkling and his one white front paw shimmered and he mewed " My name is Scourge!"
