Cheetahstar yawned. She saw a rabbit and crouched down. She raced forward easily killing it. Cheetahstar smiled and ate the rabbit. She looked up. Today is the gathering. She thought. Cheetahstar purred and started grooming herself. She wanted to look her best for the gathering.

Fadingstar remembered that there was a gathering today and padded out of his den. Looking at his Clan waking, healthy and strong, he smiled. This would be an interesting gathering. He wondered how the other Clans had held out during leafbare.

Whispersoul streched and began to groom her pelt. Then she got to her paws and hurried to Fadingstars den, and she mewed happily " Fadingstar may I come in?"

"Sure." Fadingstar replied, biting into a squirrel he'd gotten from the freshkill pile.

Whisperwind entered the den and sat on her haunches, and mewed " Have you decided who to take to the gathering yet?" she flushed under her pelt and thought I guess I'll tel him about our kits later.....

"No...you can help me decide if you want." he smiled. "Are you hungry?" he asked, nudging the squirrel toward her.

Whispersoul nodded annd took a small bite from the squirrel, and when she finshed she mewed to Fadingstar " How about....( Tigerclan doesn't have alot of cats....so I'll make up some!!! XD) Birdsong, Tigerflames, Whitewater, Rockypaw, Snowpaw, Flamepaw, you and I!" Whispersoul tell him about the kits now!!!!!! she thought embarsssly, and she mewed " Fadingstar I'm expecting kits...our kits!"

Cheetahstar saw Runningwind walk toward her. She nuzzled him. "Hey." She said lovingly. "Hey." Runningwind replied. "Who will we take to the gathering?" Runningwind asked her.
Cheetahstar thought for a moment. "Me you Rabbitleap, Breezelight, Dappleclaw, Dawnfire, Midnightpaw, Firepaw and Whitepaw." She mewed. Runningwind nodded. "Sounds good." Cheetahstar flicked her tail toward the Wind Rock. "I'll annouce it." She said quickly .She raced forward leaping up on top of the Wind Rock. "All cats old enough to run like a cheetah please gather beneath the Wind Rock!" She yowled. Her clan came out of dens and gathered below. All healthy and as strong as can be. She was so proud. "The cats going to the gathering will be Rabbitleap, Breezelight, Dappleclaw, Dawnfire, Midnightpaw, Firepaw, and Whitepaw. Please get something to eat and groom yourselves. CheetahClan needs to look their best when we come to gatherings because?" Cheetahstar raised her head as she heard her clan cheer, "Because we are the best!"

Soon Tigerclan was at the gathering and Whispersoul saw Cheetahstar, her best friend. She padded slowly and reached Cheetahstar and she mewed joyfully " Cheetahstar, I'm expecting Fadingstar's kits!!!"

Cheetahstar smiled. "Congrats! I have news also! Ive had my kits! Windkit and Harekit two little toms!" Cheetahstar said with delight.

Whispersoul purred and mewed " I thought you looked skinnier!" Then Whispersoul's eyes darkend and she mewed sadly " Whiteheart, my mother was shot and killed and Flamelicker my father died in battle with rouges....." Then her eyes brightend a tiny bit and she mewed " How is Leafbare treating Cheetahclan? Tigerclan is thriving despit the snow!!!"

Cheetahstar purred. "CheetahClan has been doing wonderful! One of the apprentices found a hare den and we have had many hares to keep us strong. CheetahClan is doing wonderful! And Whispersoul, do not worry about your mother and father. They are together peacefully in StarClan together and forever happy." She whispered to her.

Whispersoul nodded and mewed " I not worried about my parents, they have earned their places in the stars......" Then she shook snow off her pelt and mewed " Fadingstar is oh sooo happy about our kits!" and " The prey is running, but not fast enough!!" she joked lightly

Cheetahstar let out a mrrow of amusement. "Well we better start this gathering." Cheetahstar mewed. She looked over the horizon. "Do you know where the other leaders are?" She asked.

Whispersoul shook head and mewed " I don't know but its much too cold to sit here all night!"
