Official Shadowclan Camp RP

Hi, everyone! Moonsong just PMed me to make this, and I thought it was a good idea.

Basically the plot of this is for Shadowclan cats to post about their daily lives in camp.

There are only two rules:
1. Follow all site rules and regulations.
2. Shadowclan members only!

There's no form to fill out. Just post on the RP, and I'll add you to the role list.

It was getting dark, and the stars of Silverpelt were just coming out. The sounds of the forest were changing as they did every night, from frogs croaking and small animals scuttling to owls hooting and the silent wing of bats and night birds overhead. ShadowClan thrived in the dark and shadows, and as such, weren't settling down as the other Clans would be. Kits slept, but not everyone was asleep. Moonsong padded silently around the camp, staring up at the stars with eyes hazed over with dreams. One ear twitched as she heard sounds from the dens, and she sat down on the cool ground to listen, eyes clearing and breathing shallow and quiet.

Redstar walked out of her den, noticing the outline of another cat. She padded over to the cat, recognizing Moonsong. She sat next to the senior warrior. "Moonsong." she greeted, looking around the camp, "It's quite peaceful out here when everyone's asleep."

Moonsong didn't turn her head from watching the stars, the only tell that she was listening a small flick of her tail and another ear twitch. "Isn't it? No kits wailing, no scuffles between apprentices, no yowls of pain from the medicine cat den. It's beautiful, and the closest a simple warrior can get to StarClan without dying." There was a reason this was her favorite time of night. She made a habit of staying up until the stars came out each night, keeping a silent vigil. The lack of sleep didn't bother her- when you were almost constantly immersed in your dreams, it ceased to matter if you were awake or asleep. Eventually she would return to the warrior den and curl up with her mate, letting herself sink into sleep, but that could wait.

Please make sure you have a predetermined plot. That is one of the rug rules and it needs to be listed in the first post.

Ghostheart padded out of the warrior den silently, assuming that Moonsong would be outside. He's easily gotten used to her spacing out in this way. With an inward smile he sat next to Moonsong and Redstar. "Hello Redstar, Moonsong." He gently pawed at Moonsongs shoulder in greeting.

The touch surprised Moonsong much more than the words did- she'd stopped paying attention after her somewhat jaded comment, getting lost in the glow of Silverpelt. She could almost see the afterimages of ghostly cats in the sky every time she blinked, or maybe that was just her imagination. Either way, she'd been so busy staring that when Ghostheart pawed her, her back arched and her fur stood straight up. She wheeled around, eyes wide and all there for once, but quickly relaxed when she saw that it was her mate. If it had been anyone else touching her, she might have had to start a fight. "Ghostheart. I thought you were asleep when I came out of the den...?"

Crowtalon let out a yawn, lifting himself up from his nest. He had tried to sleep but it seemed that dreams were not calling out to him tonight. The black and orange tom padded out of the den, surprised to see others awake. He made his way over to them. "Hello." He spoke out as he came closer to the small group.

Redstar smiled slightly as she saw her mate pad out of the warriors den. "Ghostheart, Crowtalon." she greeted, "It really is lovely out here. Too bad it's getting close to dawn."

She looked up at Silverpelt, admiring the lovely patch of stars. she inhaled deeply before breaking the ice. "How did you all sleep?"

"Quite fine. Though I think I have a few thorns in my nest." Crowtalon responded, cleaning his pelt.

Ghostheart purred gently and nosed his mate in apology. "Sorry I startled you dear, and yes I was asleep soundly for a while. Heh guess I noticed you missing.." He quirked a faint smile.

"I didn't sleep," Moonsong mewed, moving over to press her pelt against Ghostheart and crane her neck back up to look at the stars. She laid her tail on top of his, starting up a quiet purr and closing her eyes for just a second, reopening them to be struck again by the beauty glowing in the night, only enhanced by the sky starting to tint a deep purple, fading into pink at the edge of the horizon. The stars were beginning to fade into the light, and so was she- she suppressed a yawn, nuzzling into her mate. "May StarClan watch over us this day."

Ghostheart purred a fraction louder and carefully entertained tails with Moonsong. "Silly one you need to sleep eventually." He gently licked her in both a loving and almost grooming kind of way. Today shall be a good day he thinks.

"Ghostheart is right, Moonsong. Sleep is essential." Redstar spoke, "You're not going to be awake enough for any of the dawn patrols if you don't get some rest."

Scarheart slept within her den, quietly. Though she may have been sleeping, she was taking note of everything going on around the camp. The caw of an old crow. The yawns and mews of the sleeping warriors. Even the twitching of a pines branch. She lifted one paw from her face revealing a blood red eye, glowing in the dark. She rolled her eye and sat up. She peered around the branch twisted den to the cats. She remained there watching everything that was going on.

Moonsong's reason for staying awake waned with the light of the stars- she usually only stayed up long enough to greet them, but had forgotten and been lost in dreams and fantasies, falling half asleep as she watched them rise. Now they were setting, and so was she. She yawned, leaning in to nuzzle Ghostheart one last time before turning to pad back to the warrior den. "Of course, Redstar. I'll get some sleep, and be ready to serve my Clan once dawn comes fully." With that, she walked away, slipping into the den and curling up in the nest she and Ghostheart shared, still warm from where he had been laying as she fell asleep.

Crowtalon gave his mate a small lick along her ear. "Do you want anything from the fresh-kill pile?" He asked her, nuzzling her fur.

Daily lives is not a viable plot for an rp. A plot needs to be determined before this re continues any further or it will be locked and moved to the prison.
