ShadowClan Camp

~Someone needed to finally start an rp for Shadowclan and I am a bit tired of waiting. We will just say everyone can join the RP whenever.~

Darkshadow awoke from his nest deep within the warriors den and exited it, emerging into the camp clearing. The ground was damp and covered in sponging needles from the spruce trees. The tom gave a hefty yawn and stretched before he headed to the fresh kill pile and removed a small frog. He headed off to find a dry spot in the clearing where he could sit and enjoy his meal before heading out on patrol or going out hunting like he expected he would be asked to do at some point during the day. The camp was silent as he looked around wondering where everyone was and why they were asleep so late today.

Blazeheart woke up in the nursery alone. She looked down at her bulging belly, hoping they'd come soon. She missed sleeping in the warriors' den. But then again, warriors came to visit her from time to time and if she was in the warriors' den, she wouldn't have given birth to any kits.

~Wouldn't she be a kit and not an apprentice? So she would be Sagekit not Sagepaw then.~

~So we can start right?~

Nightfall padded out of the Warriors' den, yawning widely, her gaping jaws full of needle-sharp teeth. The silver-speckled warrior grabbed a vole from the fresh-kill pile and sat down in the shade to eat. Finishing it in a few famished gulps, she stood back up and bounded out of camp, eager for a bit of hunting. Creeping through the shadowy forest, she lifted her maw up and tasted the air, carefully sifting through the scents until she found a fresh scent of prey. Nothing much ... ThunderClan .... twoleg ... marsh ... frog! Creeping slowly towards the frog, she spied it thankfully outside of the marsh, then lashed out, quick as lightning. Striking it on its neck, she plucked the limp body of the frog, then buried, before trotting off to find some more prey.

A shadow hid near the outskirts of the camp now. He watched the other cats as they awoke and left their dens. Bramblestom stood up from his resting place and headed over to the pile of food as he took a lizard for himself. Then before he could be interrupted he headed off toward the other side of camp and sat own outside of the warriors den to enjoy his meal. His yellow eyes watched as the other cats went about their regular duties.

Darkshadow yawned and stretched. His nose tickled slightly when the wind blew causing him to sneeze. He glanced around the camp at the warriors who had recently awoken. The warrior still wasn't sure what to do though so he began his hunt for Russetstar to see what kinds of duties needed to be done today. He stood up and headed toward the leaders den. Darkshadow poked his head in quietly looking for signs of the leader.

Smokepelt awoke from the warriors den and stretched each of his limbs before yawning loudly and padding out of the warriors den. His muscles were still tired from the patrol he had been on near the ThunderClan border last night. His eyes still drooped and his expression was blank when he headed over to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a black squirrel. The grey warrior was still too tired to eat though. Instead he turned and headed to the nursery, poking his head in before entering. When he spotted Blazeheart, he dropped it at her paws and purred quietly.

Russetstar yawned in her Leader's Den. She got up and walked out her den looking over the clan. She saw Darkshadow. "Yes?" She mewed, briefly licking her paws.

Darkshadow dipped his head in a quit, respectful greeting. "Sorry to bother you Russetstar but we should get a patrol out at the borders." The dark tabby paused to measure her expression. " We don't want to leave the other clans with the impression that we are weak and aren't willing to protect our borders or feed our clan." He stood there silently, not needing to say any more and hoping that he had not over stepped his bounds in questioning how long it was taking to get the patrols organized.

Glimmermist was awoken by the sounds of stirring cats, she must have slept late. After checking her herbs she trotted outside her den to see pretty much every ShadowClan member out and about. No dawn patrols had been set, which was very unusual. She sat right outside her den and closed her eyes relaxing as the sun shone on her pelt making it a glimmery silver color.
