The Outdoor Swimming Pool

Fireheart started laughing. "Swimming is easy, I can teach myself!" he said proudly.

" I can't believe im standing in front of cowbot" meowd Thunderblaze

Brightstar prodded Fireheart. "Why don't you have a go, then?" he asked, an evil gleam in her eye.

Fireheart grinned. "I can prove it," he said and jumped in the deep end. He started swimming. "See, I told yo-wait....I am falling in the water...AHHh" he said as he drowned again.

" Not again" meowd thunderblaze

Hey Brightstar, Cat Silverstar join?

Fireheart was falling deep in the water (hahaha, "FALLING IN WATER") and was motionless, even till he hit the bottom of the deep end side of the pool. He closed his eyes and hoped for hope to save him.

~Oh, and *Cough cough* by the way *cough*, this is my 1000th post. *cough* Still underestimating me now? Silverstar, watch your back! I am right behind you! ~

"Not again!" exclaimed Lighteningpelt and he dived into the water and brought Fireheart to the bank. "Now when you go into the water again, try not to drown!" There was a hint of amusement in his eyes.

Fireheart looked at Lightningpelt. "How do I not drown?" he asked while feeling hopeless.

"You have to try and not think about drowning" replied Lighteningpelt "Just think about swimming on the surface." He beckoned with his tail for Fireheart to try again.

Fireheart started thinking. "But how can I keep myself up? Do I just randomly kick underwater?" he asked hoping for a reasonable answer.

"Try and synchronise the times your front and back legs move"Lighteningpelt said "Left,right,left,right."

Fireheart nodded, hoping what Lightningpelt said was good tips. Fireheart jumped in the pool and started paddling like a maniac. He then remembered Lightningpelt's advice and started paddling normal. He was floating! Fireheart couldn't believe it himself!

"Well done!"Lighteningpelt called before diving in the water himself.

Fireheart turned to face Lightningpelt. He smiled back at him. "Thanks for the tip!" he said thankfully.

"No problem!" replied Lighteningpelt. "Im just glad i dont have to save you again!" he added, laughing.

Fireheart purred in amusement. He was about to laugh himself but then lost his paddling balance and started to drown again.

Lightningpelt dived down and got Fireheart to the bank again, soaking.
"Sorry,its my fault." Lighteningpelt apologised "I shouldnt have distracted you!"

"Maybe he should eat more fish," muttered Brightstar. "So his fur won't weigh him down."

"Maybe..."Lighteningpelt replied. He seemed distracted,lost in thought.

"What's up, Lightningpelt?" Brightstar paddled into the water, watching Icestar attempt to swim.

Lighteningpelt started and fell into the water.After getting out he said "Oh nothing..."He looked around embarresed.

Silversong attempted to swim, and failed miserably. She ended up drowning.
