The simple-minded girl sat on a bench, reading a simple-minded book. It was a perfect day, and the girl thought nothing could make it become imperfect. She thought wrong. As the sky darkened, the girl stood up in alarm. "A storm? The weatherman said nothing about this!" But she was wrong. This was no storm. This is the beginning of the end.

Katie stuck her hand in her pocket, not wanting to shake Kim's hand. "My name's Kathryn, but you can call me Katie, makes no sense how you can survive getting hit by a fireball, I'd be worried." She said as she shifted her backpack that was on her shoulder. She brought her backpack everywhere. You never know when the end of the world will come and she needs her survival stuff.

Skye sat up, head aching. It was hot and a rock had just bonked her head. "What the...." the dark-haired girl frowned at her apocalyptic surroundings. "This is so weird...where's Katie?" Slowly picking herself up to her feet, she looked around for her sister.

(Can I just randomly burst out of a bush and find Skye???

Cathy was sitting alone on the porch with her head resting on her knees. The recent argument with her mom hadn't been pretty. She'd wanted to move away, to somewhere safer when the news-reporters started panicking and talking about tsunamis and earthquakes and tornadoes. She'd wanted to move somewhere in a mountain, anywhere but here in the flat plains. But Cathy grew up here, and even if she knew it was stupid, these plains carried some sentimental value. She wasn't going to go away. Everyone was going to die in the apocalypse anyways, so she might as well die in her home. Glumly, Cathy glanced up towards the storming sky, then back at the house where loud thumps were barely audible.

Katie looked at Kim. "It was nice meeting you all, but I have to go find my sister, we got seperated by a flaming ball that fell from the sky," (hope that's okay!) She turned her head and ran away from Kim's porch, her charred red hair flying out behind her. "Skye? Skye?" She called as she ran around looking fir her sister. She ran into a dark haired girl and smiled. "Skye#" she smiled.

Skye's head pounded at the sound of her name being called so loudly. "Katie, I'm right here no need to be so loud." The dark haired girl tenderly covered her forehead, dried blood crusted on it. "I think I got knocked out by something hitting me. Man, I wish we had ice or something to help with the headache it gave me."

Katie smirked she whipped her bag around so it was positioned in front of her. She reached into survival kit and grabbed an icepack. She squeezed the pack until it was cold and handed it to Skye after putting her bag back on her back. "And you used to make fun of me for carrying this thing around!" She said.

If you're going to reply like that go ahead and add a rp post to it, or don't reply if it's not applicable to the current time. Just because the word limit is 3 does not mean adding more meaningless words doesn't count as spam. And also a general friendly reminder, you don't need to ask permission for minor actions such as appearing from behind a bush, so avoid discussing those things in a rolling conversation unless it's a major event or action.

Aria opened her eyes, and the harsh sting of smoke made her eyes burn. She opened her mouth to breath, but all she inhaled was smoke, dust, and the scent of charred flesh.

The tall girl dragged herself out of the derbies, and sucked in air, trying to clear her lungs. She scanned the broken up road and looked for people. The town was basically deserted.

The girl got up, her body scratched, battered, and bruised, and rolled her shoulders, blinking several times, clearing her eyes.

"Hello?!" She cupped her hands around her mouth, and shouted, hoping someone would respond.

A young boy named Antonio sat on his porch, listening to music as he always does at this time of day. He looked up at the sky, and it darkened very quickly. What's going on? He wondered to himself. Soon enough, a large sinkhole appeared in the ground in front of the porch and grew larger with every second, so that it began to take the porch apart bit by bit, and sucked it down. Antonio soon ran inside to escape, but the sinkhole continued to grow and suck down the house, chasing Antonio as the large hole that was his house grew larger. Finally, Antonio escaped the house, and when he looked back, there was no house. There wasn't a giant sinkhole where the house used to be, either.
