The simple-minded girl sat on a bench, reading a simple-minded book. It was a perfect day, and the girl thought nothing could make it become imperfect. She thought wrong. As the sky darkened, the girl stood up in alarm. "A storm? The weatherman said nothing about this!" But she was wrong. This was no storm. This is the beginning of the end.

Kim was confused. She studied weather a lot, and there was a 98.7% of a storm today. Her weather thoughts were disrupted by a fireball heading towards her quickly. Kim screamed and jumped out of the way. Ok, something is DEFINITELY wrong! she thought.

Kim sat there, covered in ashes. She smelled of burnt toast and smoke. But the weird thing was she wasn't hurt--not even a bit. She had just been hit with a fireball, and she sat there, feeling as unharmed as ever. Suddenly, she spotted a girl looking at her. Kim waved awkwardly, then stopped herself and smacked herself in the forehead with her broken book. Wait--the book was broken, torn, and burnt. But Kim wasn't. Something was definitely wrong here.

Katie saw the girl wave to her and she raised an eyebrow. "Yo!' She called. "What's up with the burnt house? I thought you'd be dead, most people are burnt to a crisp when fireballs come from the sky," She paused. "Oh yeah, that NEVER happens." She said. She walked up the path to the girls house and stood beside the porch. "I'd get off of there if I were you, that thing is going to cave in," She pointed out. "3... 2.... 1..." She said casually.

Kim jumped off the porch. Just as the girl said, it caved. "Um, thanks. I'm Kim. Who are you?" Kim held out her hand. But Kim wasn't focused on learning this girl's name. She was still concerned on how she possibly survived when a fireball hit her.
