Clan of the silent woods ( book )

Prologue

The sun was low in the morning. It slowly rose above the woods to give warmth to all the creatures who lived there. Birds were chirping and prey scattered across the forest floor as predators hunted.
Paws silently crept along the forest floor. Not stepping on a twig they made their way through the dense forest. A mouse wriggled its nose then dashed off. A dark brown tom stayed hidden in the bramble. A mouse crawled in front of the tom. His haunches tensed and claws unsheathed. He pounced on the mouse and threw it in the air. Another cat crawled out of the bramble. " Nice hunting skills thornpaw " said the cat. Thornpaw nodded back then followed her back to camp with very little prey.
The sun began to get covered by clouds and the sky became grey. Moisture was in the air. Then it began to rain.

Got to go I shall post more later. let me know how good the prologue was.
