An Important Message Regarding Spam
Hello WCF-ers,
It has recently come to the attention of the staff regarding staff reminding and warning users of "spam." I would like to personally shed some light on this issue.
Here is WCF's Official Rule regarding spam...
Surprised? Yes, you're reading that correctly. That's all!
I have noticed increasingly more that some members are becoming afraid to post because staffers are calling them out for posting spam.
I just want you to know that you should never be afraid to post because you are afraid to spam.
Our forum is a place for communication, a haven for others to share and discuss. No one should ever feel afraid of posting because they are afraid to spam, nor should they feel afraid of going "off-topic." And in fact, as long as your post follows the Site Rule posted above, it is not considered spam.
Also, regarding off-topic posts....
A natural conversation has its own flow of thoughts and ideas... it has its own "rhythm" and as a conversation progresses and matures, the topic or center of the conversation may naturally change. This is why in our Site Rules, you see no mention of "staying on topic." Does this mean you should go out of your way to change the direction of every thread? No. But you should not be afraid to explore and introduce what you want to express either.
If you have any comments or questions, please post them in this thread
Cordially,
Staff

Cool but one problem: If people post 3 word posts like this:
yeah, that's cool
Then, it WILL still count as a post, so maybe allow those sort of posts but make them not count, as like, in your post count?
