Riverclan RPG: The Flood (Anyone on WCF can join)

Dark clouds cover the sky. It has been raining for days, and it seems like there will be no end. The river is quickly rise, and flooding is soon to come. This may be insignifigant to the other clans, who won't be affected by the flooding in their territory, but it is a huge problem for the cats of Riverclan. They only have a short time to prepare before the flooding starts. If they do not act quickly, their camp could be destroyed and lives could be lost.

Members currently in Riverclan will not have to fill out a form, and can just join in the roleplay. Anyone outside Riverclan must fill out a form and be accepted before they can start. Your cat must be in Riverclan for the roleplay. (Ranks for the form cannot be Leader, Deputy, or Medcine Cat, but all other ranks are allowed.)

Either me or Brightstar will accept your form, when it is accepted, you may start roleplaying.

Water lashed out in miniature waves at the large paws of a dusky brown-orange warrior. Torrentheart bent down and sniffed the salty water; it smelled somewhat and death and fear-enriched fish. Licking his jaws, Torrentheart scanned the shallows of the water for any movement. The rain had died a little, so Torrentheart had went to the riverbed in search for a small minnow or something. He waded in more, till the fur on the bottom of his chest was drenched. A flicker of dark claws combined with thrashing silver as Torrentheart scooped out a pinecone-sized silver fish. He jerked his paw in the air, making the fish fly upward, and skillfully caught it in his jaws, sharply biting down. He purred through the burden in his jaws. "Finally," he managed, and trudged out of the river.

Streamfur had been watching the river, wondering if it might flood or not. She watched Torrentheart catch his fish, and then walked over to the edge of the river and meowed, "Nice catch." She watched the waves splashing against the shore, concerned. "After you bring that to the fresh-kill pile, could you start gathering supplies to waterproof the dens, in case the river floods? I'm worried about all this rain."

Torrentheart paused and looked at Streamfur with respect glittering in his eyes. He dipped his head and scurried off to drop his catch. He scrambled through the muddy-floored camp and reluctantly dropped the young fish into the pile. He shook his sleek pelt off, sprays of bright silver glittering and flying off his fur in the gloomy air. He wanted to stop in the nursery or Elder's Den and help them settle, but he wasn't the only capable warrior, he realized, so he hurried out of camp again to go retrieve some supplies.

A variety of sticks, rocks, shells, and more dangled from Torrentheart's strong jaws as he padded back to RiverClan camp. He held his head high, a brave-like look on his face. I have to look strong... he thought.

Torrentheart stood strong and arrived at camp. He saw a metal tin bucket laying tipped over near the fresh-kill pile, and he bolted over to it. He plopped the supplies in it, and went to repair some of the dens, starting with the nursery.

Everyone is accepted, and Torrentheart, I was planning to roleplay more before the flood reaches the camp. Could you edit your post?

Iceclaw was bored. She had caught a fish, eaten a fish, and pooped a fish. As she watched the camp, she spotted Torrentheart heading towards the nursery. With a mischievous glint in her eyes, she slunk up towards him.

"Hey Torry," She whispered in his ear quietly from behind.

Torrentheart turned around to Iceclaw and purred, plopping down and curling his long tail over his paws. "Iceclaw," he purred with a happy shine to his eyes. "What are you doing? I'm trying to prep up the dens, because you know, the storm and stuff..."

"Storm?" Her blue eyes shifted from his face to the darkening sky. It looked like it was going to rain. She nodded absently. "Do you need my help? Reedpaw's busy talking to the elders so I guess there won't be a training session today."

Can Featherpaw and Reedpaw be close friends? c: Training buddies and such.

Reedpaw went to the elders' den, tail dragging as he had hoped there would be another training session today. He was an older apprentice, with several moons until his warrior ceremony, and he wanted to make sure he would prove to Brightstar that he was a great warrior. Sighing, he say down in front of Hawkwing (random) and listened to his mindless chatter, wishing Featherpaw would come and visit.

Gingerburst sighed and padded into her den. She suddenly remembered her duty to the clan and sneaked out feeling like a lazy apprentice. She would fish in the river before it rained. The sky had darkened and promised rain so the fish would swim further from the surface of the water. She hurried over to the rushing river and searched for any fish. She spotted a fish tail trashing in the water and she crouched down, careful her shadow wouldn't cast over the water even though the sun was blocked. She timed it perfectly but missed as the fish swam away from the loud thunder in the sky.
