"I'm fine. I want to ask you something though. Let's go walk in the meadow." Goldenstream smiled, shuffling her paws. She didn't know how Springfall would respond to this... hopefully she would say yes? She and Stingclaw already discussed it. and now all she had to do was ask Springfall one question. All you have to ask is, "Do you want to have kits, Springfall?" It should't be this hard! Goldenstream thought to herself.

"Sure." Springfall mewed, looking at her mate questioningly.

Icepaw came hurtling up, panting, "Springfall! Have you seen Firepaw?! I wanted to show her my catches!" The tall fluffy apprentice panted, and Springfall smiled.

"Why don't you check the den?" She asked, and the white she-cat's blue and red eyes widened at her embarrassment, and skittered off to the apprentice's den.

"Now what about that walk?" The she-cat questioned, and began to pad ahead.

Goldenstream ran over to her to stay by her, and she took a deep breath. "I have a question. Springfall... do you want to have kits? I have already talked it over with Stingclaw, and he said he'll be the father of our kits. All I need is for you to answer. You don't have to carry the kits if you don't want to, I will."

Pyritesong sat silently in the camp. She had recently joined Rainbowclan, and didn't feel like she fit in yet. Lots of beautiful she-cats and toms were in this new clan, but they were all taken. Pyritesong felt alone in her little world, and really hoped that soon one of the cats would take notice to her. Her luxurious white pelt was pretty, wasn't it? She wondered hopelessly, watching other cats.

Blazefur sprawled at the base of a huge rock, resting half-in the cool shadow it provided. Her sleekly groomed ginger fur glowed like the rising sun and she was pleased with her appearance at the moment.

Pyritesong swallow her nervousness and padded over to the ginger she-cat. She seemed friendly enough, and oh my gosh, was she pretty. Way to pretty for someone like Pyrite, but what's the harm in trying?
Pyritesong settled next to the she-cat, and glanced at her shyly, "Hey. My name is Pyritesong. I'm new here, a former Skyclan member. What about you." Her tail flicked curiously. She was dead nervous, and hoped it wasn't showing.

Lilacfur lay in her den, once again doubting her position as a medicine cat. She couldn't have a mate, which she fantasized about as a kit, but she had always been a terrible warrior. With acceptional healing skills she had acquired the position from the previous medicine cat but she always just wanted love.
-omg this story is so cheesy it will kill me but I need some character variety xD-
Lilacfur saw her sister and the new, shy-looking she-cat. She found her timid aproach rather cute, so she headed over to join them.
"Hey, you're the new cat, right? Welcome to RainbowClan," she meowed, flashing a confident smile.

"K-Kits...?!" Springfall mewed, her eyes round.

"U-Um......" Springfall stuttered., "W-Well....we shouldn't really rush into things....But...I Guess...if you wanted we could have kits..." She said, looking into the forest. Goldenstream and Springfall had only been mates for a couple of moons, but she already wanted kits?! Springfall's ear twitched, while she thought.

Lightpaw walked over to the group that as forming around his mentor, Lilacfur. "Hey, Lilacfur, it looks like we're running out of poppy seeds. Would you mind if I go to fetch some?" he says. Lightpaw looks towards the new cat and asks, "You're the new cat, right?"

Firepaw opened her eyes as she stood up stretching How long have I been sleeping for? She yawned before blinking the sleep out of her small bright green eyes. Slowly she poked her head out of the apprentices den glancing around the camp. I hope no ones mad at me for sleeping so long.

"It's ok. I'm just a little uneasy about kits... I'm just scared they'll grow up hating the clan for being different.." Springfall mewed, and gently nosed her mate.

"It's always hard to bring kits into a new clan too.." Springfall mewed, and then added, "But if you feel we're ready for kits, then I bet we are." she assured.

"Alright, Lightpaw," Lilacfur mewed softly. "Nice to meet you, Pyritesong. I hope we aren't too intimidating. Usually, one look at my apprentice will send newcomers running!" She batted Lightpaw's ear playfully, indicating that it was just a friendly joke. "Do you know where they are? I'd feel less worried if I came with you," she added to the little tom.

Lilacfur purred. "Well, there's a field of poppies right on the edge of the Clan's territory, so we can head there to find some. It's pretty far though, so we'll be gone for almost the whole day. We'll probably return in the late afternoon, when the sun's out." She was proud of her apprentice, who was a fast learner. Nodding goodbye to Pyritesong and her sister, she began to pad out of camp.

They walked to the poppy fields near the meadows in near complete silence, until Lightpaw spotted a squirrel. "This may sound stupid, but is it okay if I hunt for myself here or do I have to put it on the fresh-kill pile?" he said, still eyeing the squirrel.
