A "Save" Feature.

I think it would help if there were a save feature for posts/topics. I keep trying to create topics. But before I can post , my computer time is up.

If this happens, you can just copy and paste whatever it is into a PM, and message it to yourself haha. Razz

I don't see how the "save" feature can be added... and PMing things to myself are always what I do when I haven't finished in-progress things.

I just copy and paste, or make a new document on my computer (or Kindle). And I don't think it's possible with forumation. Smile

If you have Microsoft word, you could use that as well. Most of the time when I have this problem, it's that my computer dies.

Or sometimes Safari crashes. DX. Type it somewhere on whatever your device is, and later come back and copy it.

Good point...but I think the save button could be somewhere in the bb code bar, and after, you get a PM and in there is a link that leads you to your draft!

Well let's see. You have add an entire new button, possibly an entire new page structure, whatever, to do that. And then you'd have to add some sort of software/coding that gets the forum to save things for you. Forumotion doesn't support those things.

Forumotion has several templates for a forum, you can add buttons, take away buttons, make forums, etc. Their is no button for this kind of forum that you could "add".

I do respect your idea but I think, like Brightstar said, there are other ways. And even if Forumotion DID support this option, it would probably be all messed up if every member saved a post then forgot or decided not to use it. All of that data would accumulate and mess up the server.

That's correct, I am capable of creating new buttons and pages through advanced coding languages.

I've submitted this to the Tech Team and we may add it to our list of upcoming projects soon!
