"Ph-Phantom? What are you doing here?" Ghost asked, as another jolt of pain shot through her belly. She tried to hold her yowl of pian, when she meowed, "Where's Flicker? I need Flicker!"

Phantom looked at the kits, chewing his lep, contemplating what to do. He looked at Cole and Crow, "Cole, go look for Flicker. Crow, get me a stick and.." he thought of some herbs, and told the young kit what to do and get. "You'll make it. Go." He looked at Ghost to hide the fear in his eyes. "It'll be alright.." he said soothingly.

Cole and Crow looked at each other and raced in different directions.

Cole raced through the trees, leaping over tree branches and other obstacles. It felt so weird being without Crow. He didnt like it, but he had to find Flicker. He raced back to where he was this morning before him and Crow found that pine tree. There he saw Flicker and Star. "Flicker! Flicker!" He yowled slowing to a stop. "I-its Ghost! She's kitting!" Cole mewed urgently his yellow eyes wide.

Crow padded into the forest checking plants for the right herbs. He scanned everywhere. He finally found the herbs he was looking for. It was so cool how all this time Crow thought of his surroundings as just leaves but now he could pick out which leaves and herbs can help a cat live. Getting all the right herbs he raced back to camp and stopped in front of Phantom. He gently placed the herbs down. "Here's the herbs." He mewed.

"Thanks," Phantom said gratefully, chewing them into a paste. "Get a stick." he said urgently, rubbing his tail against her stomach rhythmically. The black tom licked her head sweetly, his gray blue eyes confident and happy. Then he placed his paw on her stomach, and closed his eyes. Hmm.. I can't really tell how many she's going to have, so I won't bring it up..

Crow's eyes widened. "Oh yeah! I'll be back soon!" With that he raced back into the forest and quickly retrieved a stick. Racing back to Phantom and Ghost he gave Phantom the stick and stopped to catch his breath from all the running.

Ghost closed her eyes in pain, and pushed. The first kit already came out! A light gray tom with green eyes. She knew she wasn't done yet because she was still in pain, but it was less painful this time. She smiled at Phantom, and meowed, "Is Flicker here? I need Flicker..."

"She's kitting!" Star said, "We should get back to your camp quickly. I might be able to help comfort her since I just recently had kits myself." She glanced back to see Sky and Breeze just arriving behind her. She looked back at the other cats again and said "Lead the way back to camp." After Sky and Breeze heard the news earlier, they had gone straight back to Star.

Ghost looked around for Flicker. Where is he? He's missing the birth of his own kits! She looked around, and she knew the next kit was about to come.

Flicker raced in and stood beside Ghost, "Sorry," he began "I was excited to see my sister." He mewed he looked at the small black cat (small because Flicker is large.) "How many kits will there be?" He asked.
