Snowkit and Lilykit's apprentice Ceremony!

Kittystar leaped up onto the high ledge and yowled "Let all cats old enough to run with the desert sands gather here benieth the high ledge for a cln meeting!" she sat back and watched as her tribe gathered and watched amused as Mallowpaw and Gracepaw jostled eachother around trying to be the first one out to the den.

Smoketail padded out from the warrior's den, curious as to what this impromptu meeting could be for. She shivered a bit as the cold wind swept through camp and caught itself in her fur. Sighing, she sat down slowly at the base of the highledge and looked up at Kittystar.

Kittystar beckond for Smoketail to come up to the high ledge, then as the cold north wind chilled her fur, Kittystar sneezed, then called "Smoketail, set forward!" she called waiting for Dreamcloud and her kits.

Smoketail stepped forward slowly, excitement pricking her pelt. Was she going to become a mentor? No, it wasn't possible. Kittystar probably just wanted to make more room for the rest of the Tribe.

Kittystar sneezed again and then yowled "Hurry up Dreamcloud! HURRY YOuR SLOW BUTT UP HERE BEFOR I CANCEL THE CEREMONY!" she laughed and then quickly began to groom her pelt.

"Coming!" Dreamcloud yowled. She hurried outside with her kits right behind her. "I'm so proud of you!" Dreamcloud whispered. Lilykit and Snowkit hurried up onto the Highrock (?) And sat up straight, their pelts shining. The almost-apprentices waited patiently for Kittystar to officially start the meeting.

Iceclaw could hear excited murmurings around her. She awoke from her short nap and sprang down from the ledge hidden in the darkness. Curious, she padded softly into the main clearing, surprised that it was crowed with the tribe cats. She settled down in a corner, eyeing them. A tribe ceremony? She stifled a purr as she watched the two kits tumbling over each other excitedly.

"Hi, Iceclaw! Welcome! My kits are becoming apprentices!" Dreamcloud meowed excitedly.

Fang padded out, his fur a mess, and his mouth sharper than usual "What`s going on? I can`t get any sleep."

"My kits are becoming apprentices!" Dreamcloud meowed proudly.

Iceclaw nuzzled her mate lovingly and turned to Dreamcloud. "Really? Congratulations!" she cried out in joy, her eyes shining.

Fang looked at the two she-cats, confused, "She-cats.." He looked around for any signs of what "it" could be.

Kittystar waited for silence over the crowd, then mewed, her voice still soft from sleeping "Today, we're gathered to witness two kits coming into the age of training and battling..Snowkit step forward, Smoketail step forward..." she waited for Smoketail to step closer.

Snowkit stepped foward, puffing out his chest. I'm going to be an apprentice! he thought exitedly.

Fang lightened up a bit, "Now that makes more sense."

Smoketail stepped forward, grinning. I'm going to be a mentor!

Snakefire stood towards the dens, smiling. The tribe was growing well and two more apprentices were going to help the clan.

Kittystar mewed "Snowkit, as your mothers only son, I expect you'll be as wild spirited and hyper as you mother!" she smiled and then turned to Smoketail "Smoketail, even as a young warrior, you have proved yourself over and over and for that, I am giving you Snowkit as your apprentice! Now, Snowkit from this moment on, you shall be known as SNowpaw, and your mentor is Smoketail!" she fell silent, waiting for SNowpaw and Smoketail to touch noses.

Snowpaw smiled. I'm an apprentice! He padded over to Smoketail so they could touch noses.

Smoektail touched noses with Snowpaw, grinning.

Lilykit smiled. My turn! she thought exitedly.

Magicstar looked down at Lilykit, her eyes softening and she mewed "Lilykit, your filled with that burning compassion to help others even if it could hurt.....Now, where is Lilypebble? Our tribe healer must be present to meet her apprentice! Lilypebble, where are you?" she mewed staring into the crowd.

Smoketail backed away to stand with Snowpaw and watch his sister be made apprentice. Wonder where Lilypebble is, she thought.

Where's Lilypebble? She needs to be introduced to her new apprentice! Snowkit thought angrily.

Smoketail looked around, eyes narrowing. Doesn't Lilypebble know she's getting an apprentice?
