There is a famine where the Packs live now, and it doesn't help that Twolegs and their sled dogs keep coming into their territories, stealing trees and vital prey. Already, the Pack of Setting Suns has broken up, most of their wolves dead or starving. Will the two enemies left-- Pack of Coming Night and Pack of Breaking Dawn-- be able to work together to survive?

Other Information!
The Two Packs go to the Meeting Place every half-moon when the light side of the moon represents the Pack of Breaking Dawn, and the dark side represents the Pack of Coming Night. (Last Quarter and First Quarter)

Outsiders:
They don't go to the Meetings, unless they want to. They are respected greatly and go where they please.

Resene nodded and stared at Celsuis before she quietly flicked her thick,bushy tail while she looked at her mate waiting for his report.

Aldopha narrowed her eyes at Resene. Why is she staring at Celsius? She thought her tail swishing in warning her eyes narrowed to slits but keeping her sharp long claws sheathed.

Celsius caught Resene staring at him. He growled softly, but looked ever so slightly pleased. He lowered his head and licked Aldopha's ears.

Deryk looked around once more then looked at Celsius and Aldopha. "Meeting adjourned?" he barked.

"Adjourned!" Celsius replied. He let out a short howl before jumping off the rock. "Come, Aldopha. Let's go back to the Cave."

Resene looked at him, he looked like some wolf she knew. Then she looked at Aldopha and gave her a glare that said "Bring it on wimp! I dare you!" then she unsheathed her long, curved claws and quickly bared her teeth and then turned back to her mate.

Comet growled at Resene, unsheathing his leathal claws and baring his sharp fangs.

Deryk glared at Comet and stepped protectively in front of Resene. "Let's go." he barked.

"Move!" Celsius growled. Picking up the pace, he led his Pack away.


Ayame watched the hostility flare between the two Packs. She stayed watching for a few more moments, before vanishing into the long grass.

Comet growled daringly once more and followed his pack.

Deryk watched Comet warily for a few more moments and lead his pack home.

Resene nodded but then growled "Its not like a Omega could ever beat a Alpha anyways"! then she turned away and growled "Control your Omega's!"

Comet laughed. "I could kill your lousy mate in half a blow." he snarled.

Aldopha appeared beside Comet and barked. "Lets get going. Resene, this is supposed to be a peaceful time." Aldopha retorted and turned around to follow Celsius and the rest of the pack. "Come on Comet." She added flicking her tail toward her to show Comet to walk beside her.

Resene turned around and barked "Then why aren't you Alpha Comet?! If your such a great fighter then why haven't you beat Celsuis?" then she whisked away.

"Enough!" Celsius snarled. He slashed his teeth over Comet's shoulder. (remember, alpha wolves often do this!) "Move! Enough with the Pack of Breaking Dawn."

Comet growled lowly. "I respect him too much." he replied and turned away sharply.

Deryk gently nudged Resene toward their territory. "It's okay. Let's go home. You must be tired." he whispered.

Resene looked at Comet and spat "What ever!" then she turned to her Beta female.

Founia looked at her and Resene smiled and Founia asked quitely "how many?" Resene shook her head and woofed quietly " I don't know yet Founia!"

Aldopha watched Celsius with approval and padded beside him. "Resene needs to learn when to be quiet." She commented snarling. "And so does Comet." She added shaking her head and sighing.

"I'm sorry." Comet said quietly, his ears flattened to his skull.

Celsius licked her ears. "Don't worry. We can handle them. Comet is just a little head-strong," he added. He glanced behind him, and shrugged.

Comet sighed and trotted at the back of his pack.

Deryk lead his pack back home, thinking about what Comet meant. He respects Celsius? So much that he doesn't want to be Alpha? Why? he thought curiously. It was unusual for a wolf to not want to take the place of Alpha if he was capible to. (Can Comet be Celsius's brother?)

Celsius picked up the pace to a flat-out run. As they neared their current camp, Celsius dropped back to talk to Comet. "I'm not blaming you," he said roughly. "The Pack of Breaking Dawn was edgy today."

Comet nodded, staring straight ahead. "I probably shouldn't have said anything. I just don't like it when they speak so disrespectfully to my alphas." he growled, glaring at a tree as he passed it.

Celsius gazed at Comet expressionlessly. "You are loyal. Perhaps too much so. Remember, that may help you, it may also bring you sorrow." Inclining his head slightly, he went ahead again.


Zero paced silently at the pack of the pack, looking over the heads of the other wolves at his Alpha, Deryk.

Comet sighed. "Does that mean that I should fight you to become Alpha?" he asked quietly.

Deryk could sense a wolf looking at him. He looked back to see Zero and dropped back. "What is it?" he asked.

Resene sighed an murmured " I'm tried...I'm going to bed.." then she padded away to the cave.
