There is a famine where the Packs live now, and it doesn't help that Twolegs and their sled dogs keep coming into their territories, stealing trees and vital prey. Already, the Pack of Setting Suns has broken up, most of their wolves dead or starving. Will the two enemies left-- Pack of Coming Night and Pack of Breaking Dawn-- be able to work together to survive?

Other Information!
The Two Packs go to the Meeting Place every half-moon when the light side of the moon represents the Pack of Breaking Dawn, and the dark side represents the Pack of Coming Night. (Last Quarter and First Quarter)

Outsiders:
They don't go to the Meetings, unless they want to. They are respected greatly and go where they please.

Aldopha saw Celsius and smiled warmly at him. Then she turned to Comet. "Well, Im coming to see who this Outsider is." She barked firmly eyes narrowed. "Wanna come Celsius?" Aldopha asked with a warm smile. "We should see if this Outsider got on our territory or if their camp is close by ours." She added.

"Sure," Celsius replied. He padded over to Aldopha. "But the Outsider's leader should be smart enough to avoid any other wolf pack's camp, but you never know." Tail swinging from side to side, he lead the way though the snow. "Blood," he barked over his shoulder. "The wolf might have been wounded."

~What? Here, I'll answer.~

Ayame wandered around the snow, stopping every once in a while to shake snow off her nimble paws. Shaking her head, she plowed through the deep snow, and caught Velika's scent. And also bear. "Velika!" she barked. Pricking her ears, she ran along her friend's scent trail.

Comet sighed and growled as he smelled bear.

Aldopha carefully listened pricking her ears. Hearing a rumbling roar her eyes widened and she snarled unsheathing her claws. She bared her teeth eyes narrowed to slits.

Celsius stopped in his tracks and snarled softly. "Bear. And fresh Outsider's scent." He glanced over his shoulder. "I think we're definitely near their camp, but bear scent is nearby too. I wouldn't be surprised if the Outsiders moved their camp away, but they probably won't without a fight. Chances are, they'll stay here. I think it's a little too close to our camp. Maybe we should help the bear chase the Outsiders away. What do you think?"

Comet nodded, resisting the urge to race away to find the bear and kill it.

Aldopha paused to think for a moment. "Its might work but, what if the bear attacks us?" Aldopha asked worriedly. She could feel the earth shake under her as she heard the bear trample through the forest bellowing a might roar. Her fur stood on end and she bristled as his scent grew stronger.

"We'll have to take the chance, but we'll run if we have to. Stay close to me, Aldopha," Celsius growled. "Let's find the bear. Quick."

"I'll scout ahead if you want." Comet offered.

Celsius shook his head. "We stay together, Comet. But here, you can go ahead a few paces, then wait for us. We need to find a hiding place where the Outsiders and the bear is fighting."

Comet nodded and quickly went as far as he was allowed.

"Aldopha," Celsius called softly. Hearing no response, he frowned and looked over his shoulder. "Aldopha!"

Aldopha pricked her ears and whispered, "Shhh." Silence. Aldopha stalked forward her teeth bared. She disappeared into some nearby bushes. She gave a howl and leaped out the bear on her heels. "Run! Dont just sit there!" She howled and pushed Comet and Celsius forward. The bear roared behind them.

"Dang it!" Celsius snarled. He whipped around slashed the bear's nose. Nimbly, he danced out range, and shot forward again, leaping onto the bear's back, hanging on like a big, black burr.

Aldopha raced forward and leaped into a low hanging branch above the bear. She leaped onto the bear's back and ripped at its pelt slashing at its face while her hindlegs slashed at the bear.

Celsius slipped off the bear's back to give his mate room and rolled neatly to his paws. Ducking beneath the bear's stomach, he weaved through its paws, making the bear trip and stumble.
