Lightningsky twitched her tail, laughing.

"Come and catch me!" Rowanheart laughed, not letting go of her tail.

Lightningsky turned around and lightly nipped his ear.

He pretended to yelp and released her tail. Crouching, he slipped behind Lightningsky and poked her ribs.

Lightningsky batted at his muzzled with her right paw.

Suddenly, Rowanheart stopped fighting. He stared at Lightningsky, a funny look in his eyes.

"W-what?" Lightningsky asked, now self consious.

"Er.... nothing," Rowanheart meowed after a second. "Let's... go the lake now." He seemed embarrassed, carefully avoiding Lightningsky's gaze. Rowanheart shifted uncomfortably, then licked her cheek.

Lightningsky smiled and licked his cheek too. "Okay."

Rowanheart purred and wrapped his tail over her back. Pressing close to Lightningsky, he whispered, "I love you."

~Oka-a-y...... I usually don't do this stuff, and if any of my friends found out, I'd never hear the end of it. xD It's so weird sometimes.~

Lightningsky looked at Rowanheart, suprise flooding into her sky blue eyes. "I love you too, Rowanheart." she smiled, licking his forehead and nuzzling him lovingly. (It is a bit awkward...XD)

~Ikr? Especially when we're both girls. I mean, we have RPG characters and all that, but still!~

Rowanheart purred louder. He nosed her shoulder, and started grooming her ruffled fur.

"Where are Rowanheart and Lightningsky?" Fogstar asked.

"I don't know." Firelight replied. She padded into the forest, then she saw them. They were going to the lake. She padded back to the Sun Rock to tell Fogstar. "They're going to the lake." She meowed.

"Ok." Fogstar replied.

Lightningsky smiled and groomed Rowanheart aswell, happier than she'd ever been.

Moonshine looked up and mewed to Fogstar "Maybe we should leave them alone for a while...." she beautiful silver pelt glimmmering.

(Okay, welcome Mallowkit. )

"Let's go back to camp before anyone misses us," Rowanheart meowed after a few moments. He sighed and rubbed his cheek against hers. "Let's race now-- for real."

"Alright." Lightningsky grinned. "Ready, set, GO!" she sped off.

Moonmist sighed and layed her back down onto the the warm rocks.

Rowanheart raced after Lightningsky, but couldn't seem to catch up. As he leaped over a fallen log, he realized his jump was carrying him straight toward a long tendril of ivy. As Rowanheart landed with a thump, the ivy tendril wrapped and tangled itself around his left hindleg, trapping him. "Oof!" Rowanheart stumbled and barely managed to keep himself from falling over. "Mouse-dung!" He bent over tugging irritably at the stubborn tendril. Suddenly, he froze. Slowly lifting his head, he saw from the corner of his eye a russet fox pad into view. Its glittering yellow eyes were fixed on Rowanheart. Desperately, he tugged harder at the tendril, only succeeding in getting even more stuck. Rowanheart could only watch helplessly as the fox prowled closer. So this is how prey feels.

"We should get back to camp." Fogstar suggested.

"Ok!" Firelight replied, already off the Sun Rock. Fogstar heaved himself to his paws and hopped off the Sun Rock.

Lightningsky didn't hear pawsteps behind her and stopped, seeing a fox infront of a trapped Rowanheart. She hurled herself at the fox.

On the way back from the Sun Rock, Firelight and Fogstar smelt fox. "Fox!" They yowled in unison. They followed the scent and saw Rowanheart and Lightningsky fighting a fox. Firelight yanked the fox's tail, and the fox yelped. It turned around to see Firelight. Firelight bit the fox in the leg, and it yelped again, then it backed away from her. Fogstar pounced onto it's back and covered it's eyes. "Someone slash it in the throat!" He yowled.

Lightningsky nodded and bit into the fox's throat, yanking her head back. The fox fell to the ground in a pool of blood.
