Lightningsky stopped and stalked a rabbit. It was startled as twig snapped beneath a squirrel. Lightningsky raced after the rabbit, jumping over rocks and slithering under fallen trees. She finally caught up to it an dealed a killing blow to it's throat.

"Nice catch! You're really fast," Rowanheart meowed, padding up to Lightningsky.

"Thanks! Sorry for leaving you ther, I just had to catch this." Lightningsky mewed. (Awesome! She likes him too ) Her eyes shined happily.

"It's okay," Rowanheart replied, his pelt brushing hers as he picked his way over the forest floor.

Lightningsky breathed in his scent, loving how wonderful it was. He smelled like the forest. She stayed silent, thinking about confessing her feelings to him.

"That is a good question, Moonmist. How did you foot get crippled, Deadfoot?" Firelight asked, licking his crippled paw.

"Want to go sit by the lake?" Rowanheart asked, looking over at Lightningsky, eyes sparkling.

Rowanheart purred and licked her ear. "Let's see who's faster!"

Lightningsky blushed. "You're on!" she mewed.

Rowanheart paused only a fraction of a second before breaking out in a sprint.

Lightningsky grinned and ran after him, not using a fraction of her speed.

Briarwing padded into the clearing of camp, stretching her muscles. She walked over to the nearest cat. "Hey, do you wanna go for a patrol?" she said. talking to no one really, but anyone can say something.....

~You asked... (Making up the name) Morninglight to patrol with you!~
"Sure!" Morninglight meowed cheerfully.

Rowanheart realized Lightningsky wasn't running and dropped back. He playfully bowled her over and meowed, "What, not in the mood for running? How about fighting?" He poked her in the ribs.

"Okay," replied Briarwing. "I think there was a good sunning spot for mice somewhere down the hill." She began padding towards the entrance, when she paused and said "Have you heard anything about dogs before?"

Deadfoot looked up at the others and lowered his paw. "Its a long story." He mewed. "Ya see, when I was a kit... a badger twisted and tore it. I then was thrown into camp damaging it even more. I killed the badger and my clan then saved my life and made my paw not so torn up and ragged looking. They thought I wouldnt become a warrior but I showed them." He finished with a handsome smile.

"How brave!" Firelight meowed affectionatly. She licked Deadfoot's crippled paw. Then she curled up beside him, then she closed her eyes.

Lightningsky purred. "I was just going easy on you. A fight sounds good." she mewed.

Rowanheart purred. He leaped back and playfully batted at Lightningsky's tail, trapping it in his paws.
