"I'm going to check out the noise. Come with me?" she offered. She couldn't leave a cat in need.


~ She likes Red ~

Red smiled. "Sure." He pricked his ears checking for any more yowling of cats.

There was another loud shriek. Now the words were clearer.

"Help!"

"Lets go!" Red yowled. He pounded ahead and jumped into the woods nearby. He jumped over logs and toward the yowling. Red kept an eye for Rouge or any other cat.

~ Its Rogue, not rouge... ~

Rogue raced past the trees with Red. A small gray tabby kitten, no older than 8 moons was writhing under an army of rats.

~Wow my spelling today is really bad, sorry! ~

Red raced forward and threw rats down to the ground killing one. The rats saw a bigger tom and leaped up on him. More rats raced into the clearing. He slashed down rat after rat. He pushed back the kit in the direction of Rogue. He kept battling. "Take the kit back to the cave!" He yowled before being piled under more rats.

~ Its alright. Many people make the same mistakes. DO NOT APOLEGIZZZEEEE ~

Rogue glanced worriedly at Red. She quickly grabbed the kit by his scruff and hurried back to the shelter. She warned the kit," Stay here."

Red screeched in pain as a rat slashed his shoulder. He growled taking tons down at a time. Soon he was surrounded by dead rats. "N-no more?" He whispered. "Thank goodness!" He cried. Red stumbled to the side and crashed down on the grass breathing heavily.

Rogue rushed back to where the rats were. "Red? Red! Are you alright?" she nuzzled the allen tom.

~ WHo did you rescue???!~

~A kit~

Red lifted his head and smiled. The side was bleeding. He sat up and shook out his fur. "Yeah Im alright. He mewed. His eyes were half closed and he was breathing hard. "Lets get back to the cave, is that kit alright?" He asked.

"Perfectly safe," she purred. She helped Red to her paws.

Red grunted in pain and leaned on Rogue's shoulder. "Thanks." He mewed.

Rogue slowly led Red back to the shelter

They saw the cave and he saw Dawn racing toward them. "Red! Your ok! I was so worried about you! Dont leave me a again like that!" Dawn cried licking him. "You always need your sis." Dawn smiled puffing out her chest. "Lets help those wounds." Dawn mewed.

Rogue silently slinked away into the shadows.

Red looked back at Rogue. "Come on!" He called back to her. "Lets eat, I know your hungry." He mewed. Red flashed a glance at his sister. Dawn's eyes widened. She gave a small nod and mewed, "I'll meet you all in the cave." She padded away.

Rogue's eyes brightened. "Thanks," she mewed and began to eat.

Autumn tasted the air. "Rats," she growled. Bristling, she unsheathed her claws. "And cat scent too, but fainter. Hmmm. Perhaps I will check this out."

Autumn smelled two cats ahead of her, one of them with fresh prey. Her belly growled. "Prey!" she muttered.

Rogue noticed her. She gave a warning growl. "Who are you?"

Red staggered to his paws and snarled, "Yeah? Who are you?" He added.
