Shardstep's art + requests.

I'll just be posting my art! I use a mouse and MS paint if anyone is wondering. I also do requests too. Though they take a bit of time to draw.

Ya! Oh my gosh! Can you draw me? I`m a tannish-orange cat (The color of the cat on my avatar. Sorry, it`s kind of hard to explain) with black stripes exactly like a tiger and hazel eyes with LONG whiskers. Thanks! I know my description is hard to understand but you can just look at my avatar or look up images of Toygers.

You`re welcome! Sorry it`s so confusing! I`m just curious, how long does it normally take you to draw a cat?

Usually it takes about a hour for sketching/lineart. Coloring and background really depends on how complex the cat is.

The thing you have to have when drawing with a mouse is patience. My art is actually better than when I used a tablet, because I paw more attention to detail now.

mouses aren't hard to control. i use the second thickest brush and i don't zoom in, so i can see the whole picture.

a tip is also to keep the back half of your palm on a flat surface, so you're grounded and it's easy to control. i sound so teacher-y!!!!!!! i've gotten so used to drawing with a mouse. o.O

I have a tablet! Its easier~

I used to use a tablet. The pressure control was a nice touch, and it added speed to drawing. I still like mouses though, you really have to put effort into the art.

I use a tablet. They're easier to use, in my opinion. They make things a LOT better.
