Nightwish stood still, and she closed her eyes remembering every thing about her past life " Littlefire!Littlefire, she opened her eyes!! Our little girl opened her eyes! mewed her mother happily. " LITTLEFIRE!!!!! HE-" her mother's shreik was cut off, and was followed by a horrid crunch! " DADDY NOOOOOOO!" wailed Lilystem, as his body fell limply, Lilystem shreiked as she plummeted off the tree branch, landing with her limbs spred out at an angel, Goosefeather(her kit) dying painful, Thrasherclaw, fox's teeth ripping at his neck, her racing down a slope into battle, her claws ripping a Riverclan cat's face, a tom shoving her off the edge of the sunning rock, sending her plumeting onto a jagged rock, then stumbling into the river, drownding, Riverclan cats and Thunderclan cats rcing to save her, she remembered her last thought.........Starclan........I hate you.....you took away every thing from me........

"Okay. Show us what you know already," Stoneheart growled. He stepped back, blue eyes glittering meaningfully. "Attack each other."

Firesoul also stepped back, sitting down and wrapping his tail around his paws. Russetpaw circled Gingerpaw, growling and lashing her tail.

Nightwish closed her eyes, all those are bitter sweet things! She remembered all her pain, her hate, pride, and every thing she's ever felt drain away witha cold firey numbness, flooding her veins, closing in on her and killing her.......... Russetpaw fell into a puddle, and splashed her and she rounded on the apprentice, her eyes wide, then limped off into the forest away from every one else,

Gingerpaw watched with narrowed eyes, then lunged without warning. She feinted to one side, then landed a sharp blow on the side of Russetpaw's head.

Russetpaw stumbled but regained balence and swiped at Gingerpaw's face, her claws stretched to their full length.

Gingerpaw ducked and clasped her jaws over Russetpaw's shoulder, wincing as her opponent's paws swished past, leaving a bloody nick in her ear. The ginger apprentice threw her weight into the back legs, bowling Russetpaw over.

Nightwish stopped to watch, and she scowled as the two apprentice's fought....to her they looked like they were playing!

Redclaw watched. "Redclaw I wanna fight too." Boltpaw moaned with a bummed look. "Patience Boltpaw. Wait and watch. You can learn from them. Watch how they fight then listen to their mentors and see what they tell them to improve their skills." Redclaw replied to Boltpaw.

Silentshadow padded up to her, eyes warning Nightwish not to fight back. "Leave them alone. They just became apprentices, okay? Being only 6 moons old, you can't expect them to fight like a seasoned Dark Forest warrior, can you?" she added sarcastically. "Silentshadow, leave it," Stoneheart warned, but his eyes never left the two scuffling apprentices.

Russetpaw yowled with pain but raked her claws along Gingerpaw's back and shoulders.

Gingerpaw shrieked and started clawing at Russetpaw's face, a furious snarl fixed on her face.

"Enough," Stoneheart said tiredly. "We need to sharpen your techniques, then fight again. Alright, we should review your fight first." Stoneheart nodded at Gingerpaw. "Do you think you should've waited before attacking first, or do you agree with what you did?" He turned to Russetpaw. "Do you think you should've attack first, or do you think waiting is better?"

"I think that waiting is best so that you can stratigize." Russetpaw mewed, wincing in pain as her face burned.

Boltpaw narrowed his eyes. "Redclaw?" Boltpaw said looking up at Redclaw. "Yes?" Redclaw asked him. "When you train dont you unsheathe your claws?" He asked her. Redclaw's eyes widened. "It shows a sign of weakness, unsheathe your claws Boltpaw. Do not sheathe your claws when fighting in the Dark Forest if you wish to stay here." Redclaw growled narrowing her eyes. Boltpaw nodded. "Dont worry Redclaw I wont!" Boltpaw cried. Redclaw nodded. "Now go listen to what the mentors are saying. You could learn a lot from them." Redclaw said. Boltpaw smiled and nodded. He raced over to the others and Redclaw heard him say, "I'm gonna listen too!" He declared.

Suddenly Blackblood was in front of Redclaw snarling " This is an apprentice of STARCLAN, NOT YOU MANGEY FUR BALLS!!!!" then he lunged for Redclaw, his eyes wild " If I can't kill Nightwish, Shredtail, Oozingblood, or Nightwish I'll have to settle for you!!!" Then he lunged for her neck!

Gingerpaw looked grumpy. Twisting to lick the scratches on her back, she meowed, "I think attacking first is better."

Stoneheart nodded. "You are both correct. You should wait, yes, to strategize, but not for too long. If you do, your opponent will gain the upper hand. (upper paw? ) But attacking too early is not good either. Your opponent will had the time to strategize and easily knock you over and avoid you. Try again."

Silentshadow didn't hesitate. With a deft twist of her body, she neatly knocked Blackblood of balance, and sank her jaws deeply into his throat.

Redclaw slid forward and hit his belly throwing him off. "YOUR NOT STARCLAN IF YOU KILL LIKE THIS!" She yowled. She aimed a heavy blow on his head. Boltpaw saw waht happened and screeched. "DONT TOUCH MY MENTOR!" He yowled racing forward jumping on Blackblood's back.

Firesoul raced over and tackled Blackblood, growling the whole time.

"Back, idiot!" Stoneheart bellowed, knocking Boltpaw away. "Stay out of this fight! I'm getting Shredtail! In fact, you go get Oozingblood. All you of you, stick together, and GO!"

Blackblood shreiked, his whole body spazzed out in pain, and Silentshadow dropped him to the ground. Suddenly Nightwish exploded out of the bushes, and she shreiked " SILENTSHADOW!!! GET AWAY FROM HIM!!!"Suddenly Blackblood shot forward, lunging for Silentshadow! Nightwish raced forward, and knocked her out of the way, and his teeth sunk deeply into her chest. She shreiked in pain, then stummbled to her paws, and messly ripped Blackblood's throat open witha slash of her paw, and then gasped for air and fell to the ground.

Firesoul pinned Blackblood down. "You're the worst fighter I've ever met." he laughed wickedly.

Silentshadow grunted as she fell to the ground. "Idiot!" she gasped, scrambling to her paws.

Firesoul glanced at Silenshadow. "You okay?" he asked, turning his attention back to Blackblood.

Redclaw watched. She padded over to Boltpaw and hid his face from the scene. Boltpaw whispered. "I-Im scared."
