Firesoul padded toward Shredtail, wondering why Redclaw had stuck up for him.

Redclaw thought for a moment. D-do I... like Firesoul? Redclaw shook her head vigorously. N-no way! She thought.

"You okay?" Firesoul whispered to Redclaw, seeing her shake her head.

Shredtail could feel his cats surrounding him. His claws were itching to fight. No... wait... not yet... they had to train more cats from the clans... once they had enough...

Shredtail smirked. We will be patient. We will wait. StarClan will fall. And the Dark Forest would take over.

Stoneheart flattened his ears contemptuously at the fighting cats. Get over it! he thought. "Swiftpaw. Come here," he meowed in a low voice. "What?" The big tabby she-cat stalked over. "I want you to find more cats for the Dark Forest. Dependable, strong, and obedient apprentices. It'll make Shredtail's life easier." Swiftpaw scowled. "This is going to be hard....." "No! Just do it." Without waiting for a response, Stoneheart stalked over to the group, sitting down.

Redclaw blinked and looked at Firesoul with surprise. She smiled sheepishly. "Uh yeah! Im fine." She said quickly.

Silentshadow padded over, looking bored. "What are we doing today? Are we going to use our apprentices at all?" she asked, glancing at Firesoul and Redclaw.

Redclaw shrugged. "I want an apprentice." She growled. "Do you know if there are any apprentices worth training?" Redclaw asked.

Silentshadow lifted a shoulder in a half-shrug. "In WindClan? Not really." Her green eyes wandered over to where her brother, Stoneheart, sat. "He's been gathering apprentices. Maybe you should ask him."

"I'll start searching in ThunderClan after the meeting." Firesoul mewed, not wanting to depend on any cat but himself.

"Suit yourself," Silentshadow retorted. "But it'll save your time asking Stoneheart. He's been visiting every Clan for the past two moons."

"I'll ask about it I guess." Firesoul shrugged.

Nightwish padded quietly over to the Jagged Stone, lookign for a open spot, she noticed a empty spot beside Redclaw and Firesoul. She padded over and sat down quickly, and hissed to Redclaw " Have I missed much?" Her eyes filled with hate as she noticed Blackbood and Oozingblood purring loudly together, then as she waited for Redclaw's reply she let her cold eyes drift over Shredtail, Mousebrained fool! I know that he loves me, but he won't show it! All the cats I loved and tried to love left me! First Mother and father, then Thrasherclaw, then my poor little kit Goosefeather ( Yes she is the mother of Thunderclan's crazy old medicine cat!) Then Blackblood, and now Shredtail! Psst, love is brave, but foolish and selffish, but I don't if I can ever love agian.....my heart is full of too much pain and hate.......she thought darkly.

Silentshadow gave Firesoul a dark look and slipped away to sit by her brother. "Any new cats?" she prompted. "Yeah," Stoneheart meowed. "Lots. We should get busy. I'll tell Shredtail later."

Redclaw narrowed her eyes. "I might know one apprentice. His name is Boltpaw. He might be good. He is jealous of his brother I can tell." Redclaw mumbled to herself. "Maybe..." She whispered.
Redclaw narrowed her eyes at Nightwish. Redclaw rolled her eyes. "Not much." Redclaw growled back.

"Are you ok? You seem...depressed." Firesoul asked Nightwish.

Silentshadow left Stoneheart sitting by himself and bounded into the forest.

Redclaw blushed. "Im not depressed! And I'll be really happy with an apprentice. And when we beat StarClan already." She said. Redclaw leaned in and whispered into Firesoul's ear. "And I'll be a lot happier when all this fightning stops. We are all here for one mission and thats to destroy StarClan."

"Yeah...all of this ridiculous fighting is making me angry." Firesoul growled.

"Its ridiculous and Im sick of it. But some cats here cant help fighting." Redclaw said. She got up to her paws. "I think I'll go see Boltpaw. I'll see you later?" Redclaw said.

Nightwish shook her head and glanced around the forest and murmured " Nothing......" She shook her head harder and growled out loud " What is Blackblood doing? I know that look......" She looked around, and then blinked her head in shock, and mewed " Did I just say that out loud?!"

"Yeah," Stoneheart growled. "What are you thinking? You look like you think Blackblood is planning to kill Shredtail."

"Plus, you're still in love with him after what he did to you?" Firesould asked, shooting a glare at Blackblood.

Silentdeath padded over "Hey peeps! Wha's happening?" She mewed, giggling.

"Nothing much...just talking." Firesoul shrugged, smiling at Silentdeath.
