Most of these cats are Australian Feral cats [just like Brumbytail and Boomerleap]. Down there [and in New Zealand] they pose a major threat to the rare native species. So some folks there live by the motto "A good cat is a Dead cat", and go on 'cat-safaris'.

I cant see the pictures (I guess thats a good thing though) But its not just in Australia!! In the United States, millions of cats in shelters are put down because they cant find good homes in time, or they are really sick, or they need surgery no one is willing to pay for. Also, countless other cats and dogs are droppped off close to animal shelters, but end up getting hit by a car or attacked by a wild animal.

Yeah but there's a certain difference between what you said, and people actually going around hunting and killing cats!!!! [people in Canada and the US do shoot cats with B.B. or Pellet guns, but not actual hunting rifles].

Why do they kill cats anyways? It's not like their fur is valuable, or that they kill humans. Imbeciles...
