Stormkit lifted his head. Everyone was asleep. He carefully got to his paws trying not to wake Applefur and quietly woke up the kits in the nursery. "Hey guys... guys wake up I have an idea!"

Maplekit slowly opened his eyes, and looked at Stormkit. "Huh...What is it Stormkit?" he asked half-sleepily, half-quietly.

Stormkit who was wide awake shook all the kits gently. "I'll tell you when we get out of camp. We need to sneak out come on i know a secret way! We wont get caught and then I'll tell you! You all will love this idea!" He whispered excitedly

Getting up as silently as he could [without waking Lotusflower], Maplekit and the others left their nests and followed Stormkit.

Once outside Stormkit raced over near the edges of the camp hidden among the shadows. He reached some heather and slipped through. There was a hole that he had seen Boltkit dig up to sneak out of camp to catch a rabbit. He slipped down like a snake and popped out in WindClan territory. "Over here." He whispered. Stormkit jogged over to a scrawny small hollow tree and slipped inside. There was enough room for 11 kits still.

"Okay Stormkit," said Maplekit more fully awake when they got inside the tree. "Now can you tell us what this wonderful idea was? That you had to make us get out of the Nursery, in the middle of the night for?"

Stormkit smiled. "One word! KitClan! Lets make a clan! All the kits can be involved and we can start it! At night we can go out and become KitClan. There will be a leader and deputy and it will be just like a real clan! Wanna do it?" Stormkit clawed at the bark of the tree with his silver paws with anticipation.

"Hmmm...." thought Maplekit. "I don't know. I mean it sounds like fun, but I mean consider the last time we snicked out of the camp. How do we know that won't happen again? And if we do this, where will we have it as territory?"
