Reincarnation

There are no chapters. Sorry if the names are funny, i'm just weird like that.

Long ago, the forest only consisted of three Clans – SwiftClan, LightClan and WaterClan. Members of SwiftClan were only the strongest, most powerful warriors in the forest. LightClan consisted of only dazzling and good-natured cats. WaterClan was a Clan of weak, frail cats with big brains. Their way to win a battle was to strategize.
The Clans lived together in the same forest. Each of the leaders was proud of their Clan, and showed it. Members of each Clan were also amazingly big-headed. They only lasted a few moons together before trouble began.
At the nest Gathering, the leaders were asked to speak. Glowstar, leader of LightClan, was the first to speak. “I'm very glad to announce that we have four new kits in the Clan – Leafkit, Petalkit, Thornkit and Maplekit. They are all very beautiful and close to my heart. I'm proud to say that our Clan is probably the freshest an best Clan all cats look up to,” she said, her golden pelt shining underneath the moon.
“LightClan?” mewed Shellstar, leader of WaterClan. “That Clan is full of cats who don't even know what a battle plan is! I think WaterClan is the best, we have the wits and the bravery to survive on our own. Our Clan would be the only Clan to survive if there was ever any danger.”
Cats began mumbling quietly. Some of them began to show fear, for the clouds were gathering over the group... But then Airstar, leader of SwiftClan, stepped up.
“Silence!” he boomed in his big voice. “I can see where you two are going with this, but i can assure you that there is no Clan more powerful than SwiftClan. We are the strongest Clan this forest has ever seen! I can assure you that we would be the last ones standing. LightClan is pathetic. WaterClan is weak. It's too obvious.”
Shellstar's silver pelt bristled. “Are you saying we aren't fit enough to survive? SwiftClan would need the most prey to survive!”
“How can you say that when LightClan burns a heap of prey everyday?” Airstar spat.
“We do it as a sacrifice! We are true to our ancestors. We don't spend waste our time apprenticing kits or training full-grown warriors until their muscles bulge,” Glowstar hissed,.
The leaders glared at each other, a fight threatening to start. Then Airstar spoke again.
“If i am reincarnated, I will be a more clever cat than you, Shellstar.” His bronze pelt looked black as the clouds finally covered the moon.
“I won't care,” Shellstar hissed. “I will have a pelt more dazzling than Glowstar's!”
Glowstar was surprised. “What? You can have my pelt. In my next life, I will show Airstar i can be fit enough to run all three Clans!”
With that, Airstar leaped onto Shellstar. Glowstar hesitated, but then jumped in eagerly into the fight. Then came the deputies and the warriors. Everything was such a mess, and it wasn't helping that it had begun to rain.

Many years later

“Hurry up Oakleaf! Mistflower is having her kits!”
Oakleaf ran to the nursery, where his mate Mistflower was on her side with three kits.
“They're beautiful!” Oakleaf gasped. “What should we name them?”
“Lusterkit, Pearlkit and Breezekit,” mewed Mistflower, her blue eyes shining against her grey fur.
“Wonderful names,” meowed Oakleaf.
He studied the kits, fascinated by the little balls of life. But then he noticed something strange – the kits all had metallic fur. Lusterkit had shining gold fur with radiant orange tabby stripes. Pearlkit was a glorious silver cat with such a smooth, metallic pelt. Then there was Breezekit, the smallest kit. He had bronze fur, except for his white tail tip and a black patch on his back. Oakleaf was confused. Mistflower was grey with blue eyes. He himself was a black cat with amber eyes. How did the kits come to have such strange pelts?
