Silverstar padded over the rocks of her territory with her faithfull deputy, Watershred. She leaped up a tall rock where she could see all of the clan territory. This was her favorite place to be and she was determened to show it to her new deputy. The two cats sat and watched the sun set and then went back to the clan camp.

"Thank you Silverstar," Honeystar replied. "I just hope they are at least staying together. One thing I know for certain," he added, as he made a tremendous leap from one rock to the next. "Despite being WindClan-born, they are quite remarkable at climbing and jumping."

Hawktalon still looked unsure, but she still followed the two leaders towards the Highstones. The kits' scent seemed to get a little stronger as they got closer.

As they neared the Highstones, the kits' scent became stronger, but mixed with something else.Rattlesnake! Just then, the deadly sound of a Rattler's tail could be heard, and in front of him was the large coiled serpent shaking it!

Step back and stay still it looks like a western rattle snake do not be afraid when it looks some where else run.

Honeystar heard the SkyClan Deputy's warning, but remained where he was. He could detect the scent of his kits on the snake, as well as around it.

"Peace friend," he spoke to it in the snake language he had learned from Jhangis, back when he lived in Lakshmi Valley. "We be one you and I."

The Rattlesnake lowered it's tail in silence, and raised it's head up to stare at Honeystar, in both a calm and surprised manner.

"Truth." It replied back. "Even so, stay still or I shall strike! Let me slither up close, so that I may hear you speak better."

Uncoiling itself, it moved towards Honeystar, and loosely wrapped itself around his neck.

Talonstrike was fishing near the stream at Highstones. Suddenly he a distinctive rattle. "Rattlesnake!" Talonstrike grabbed his fish and hid them in a rock crevice and bounded toward the sound. Jaws opened, tasting the air he smelled cats. "Silverstar! honeystar? Dreamdust!" Talonstrike skidded around a corner and stopped in fright.

Silverstar watched in fear as the snake slithered closer to the cats.

"Your accent is strange but well spoken," the rattlesnake noted. "You must have been taught by another snake I assume?"

"Truth, or half-Truth perhaps." answered Honeystar. "I grew up with a cobra who was our healer, but also taught by my mother."

"And you must have taught it to those young cats that I met earlier this morning! Now it all makes sense."

"Yes, those are my hatch-lings! Do you know how many you met, or where they went? "

"I smelled the fear scent of five plus one named Cranekit who seemed surprisingly calm. He was the one who spoke to me. He said they were going to Highstones and see the Starstone or smething. Does that help?"

"Yes, I mean Truth, it does! They wandered away from their nest, and we're looking for them. Thanks so much Maha Nag."

"Now I Know you were indeed taught by a cobra. Well good luck finding your hatch-lings stranger. I go to find someplace else, where I can Sun-bath myself in peace."

And with that the rattlesnake slithered out of sight.

Cool!)) Silverstar watched as the snake went away. "What was that all about?" She asked.

Honeystar turned around to answer Silverstar's question. "There's a lot you still don't know about me. Talking to snakes is perhaps one of them. Now I know for sure where my kits are heading. They are going to see the Moonstone!"

(( or starstone. )) "Ok then." She said. "Lets go then."

Dreamdust walked along with her fellow cats. Then she was worried a bout her kit in the nursery but was wanting to help honey's kits.

When they got to the entrance to the Mother-mouth [the cave that leads to the Moonstone], Honeystar was surprised to find that the scent trail seemed to overlap itself.

"They must have already left the cave." he said. "And it seems they are now heading towards RiverClan Territory..."

Suddenly he picked up the scent of a kit that wasn't his. The trail now seemed to be mixed with both WindClan and SkyClan!

Lol. I have a book on my brother's kindle called, "The Jungle". Is that the same book?

Blossomheart spotted Honeystar and Silverstar from a high, fluffy cloud high in the sky. Using the express cloud elevator, she popped down in front of them , "Whas' up?"

"Windclan kits missing. In Moonstone. Talked to Corbra." Silverstar spilled out.

"Silverstar, I'm afraid it's not just my kits that are missing!" Honeystar said. "I think Treekit joined up with them, and for all we know, they're probably trying to see all the Territories!"

Brightstar joined Honeystar, Silverstar, and Blossomheart. "This is interesting! Do you want me to ask my warriors to keep a lookout for your kits? And if we find them, Rainsplash can keep them busy with her kits. They're about the same age."
