Have you noticed that erin hunter made a few mistakes in her books?
Rowanclaw started out as a she-cat and ended up as the faTHER of tawnypelt's kits
Ottersplash is a tom in the beginning of Crookedstars Promise
Bumblestripe's name was Bumbleflight in the allegiances part of Fading Echoes.
Weird names:
Clawface
ivypool
brindleface
whiskernose!
lostface- too many faces!
ratscar
applefur
kinkfur/kinktail
toadfoot
What else can you think of?

I've seen someone say Squirrelflight is a weird name. I'll have to agree

In Bluestar's Prophecy Patchkit (Patchpelt) was younger than Whitekit (Whitestorm)

some of the new cats in riverclan in the books, eg dapplenose(stupid name)and pouncetail(ditto) are too young to be elders already.
also dovewing's"golden eyes" were actually blue. brambleclaw's eyes are supposed tobe amber, but theyre green on the cover of midnight.

You know what's the problem? It's that "Erin Hunter" isn't one person but like 4 that use "erin hunter" as an alias. So they get all confused when they try to make different books. I'm like

Sparrowpelt(Halftail) at the start of the books, was an elder along with Patchpelt. >_< Patchpelt was a kit in Bluestar's Prophecy when Sparrowpelt was already a warrior. Halftail is supposed to be dead already!

I don't really care about weird names. Would you rather have several names be recycled over and over again?
What bugs me is that Mistystar must be thousands of years old by now, but yet she's still leading her clan like she's the youngest, fittest warrior ever. The laws of the wild dicate that no wild animal could possibly survive for as long as she did!

i have to agree and add to your post stareye. if mistystar is old, what is mousefur? she's probably like, a stick by now! firestar is also pretty old. around mistystar's age i guess, because they were warriors at around the same time.
