The Wildfire RPG(open to all)

Sunfire coughed again, feeling his paws begin to slightly shake underneath him. He stood strong, though he felt like collapsing and letting the fire and smoke overtake him.

Description: large, burly brown tabby she-cat with forest green eyes
Personality: Forestblaze is nice and loving to those she trusts. If she does not trust you, it's best not to even look her in the eye.
Other: She is Sunfire's mother, and is very protective over him. His death will most likely make her somewhat crazy.

Although she could hardly see through the smoke and her lungs were burning, Silverlily darted after Frostbite towards the elder's den. She stumbled over a low gorse brush, twisting her left hind paw. Fox dung. Get it together. It hurt to put weight on her leg, but she would have to ignore it for now. Elders, first. Silverlily shouldered her way into the den and helped Frostbite prop up Heatherpelt. The smoke was thicker now, the heat more intense. Ash covered Silverlily's grey fur in a darker layer of grime. Even her eyes hurt now. The wind that had been pushing the fire was whipping up ash now too. She squinted her eyes against the wind as she led the elder out of the den. "Frostbite!" Silverlily called back frantically. "Hurry! The fire's going to start closing off the exits to camp!"

((Sunstar, can you have Frostbite help Silverlily once she gets trapped? ^^ The elders will already have escaped but she lags behind or something. Also, you don't have to succeed in saving her. I won't be mad if she dies. She'll be severely burned if she survives anyway.))

Frostbite nodded and quickly nudged the elder out. "Go over there," she pointed out. "Most of the clan's gathered over there." She looked back at Silverlily. "Come on Silverlily! Let's get going!" Just when she reached the edge of the camp, the fire raged into camp, smoke and heat even more intense. She gasped, horrified, as it cut her off from Silverlily. Frostbite herself was standing on a hill, and she reached out a paw. "Silverlily! Grab hold! I'll get you out of there!" She flinched back as the heat came nearer, almost scorching the fur off her paw, but she kept it there. 



~AND STUFF~

Mosspaw followed Sunfire. So many things were running through her head at the moment that see was nearly blinded from the true event that was happening to her home.

Sunfire trotted behind the apprentices, his coughing getting worse. He looked ahead of him, his eyes stinging. He pushed the apprentices along as he felt himself get weaker. "I don't know if I'll make it out of here alive." he thought to himself, "I just need to get everyone out of here."

Mosspaw stopped walking and went to Sunfires side. She could tell he was weak. The smoke and ash stung her eyes as more pops and crackles came. "We'll make out alright." She coughed slightly and looked around. She watched the fire lick up what was her home. Her heart was pierced with the claws of pain and grief. She held her head low and continued at Sunfires side.

Sunfire nodded slightly, turning around. "W-Where is-" he coughed again, "Duskpaw?"
He started to walk back into camp, in the one opening that was still there (at least on that side of camp) to look for Duskpaw. "Duskpaw!" Sunfire called, coughing violently, "We need to get out of here!"
He watched the cats fleeing camp, noticing something. "Where's Lilacstar?!" he ran with all of his strength to the leaders den, seeing the leader.
"Lilacstar, come on!" Sunfire coughed again, "We need to... we need to get you... out of here!"
His speech slurred as he felt dizzy. He finally collapsed to the ground, gasping for air. "Come on, Sunfire, you can make it."

Duskpaw quickly looked around, coughing hard from all the smoke. He could barely make out other cats but he heard Sunfire calling his name so he ran in that general direction, looking for a way out of the camp. Eventually he found one and scrambled out as fast as possible. "Da-Darkpaw!" He looked around in a daze but half ran half stumbled in the direction he thought she may have gone. "Darkpaw!"

As Frostbite directed the elders to safety, Silverlily couldn't help but double back to check the dens one last time. Her cursory sweep took only seconds, but by the time she'd run back towards the open moor, the fire had closed her off. Panic seized her and she darted back and forth, frantically searching for a place where the lines of fire were thinnest. Dimly, beneath the roar of the flames, Silverlily heard Frostbite calling her name. Hope and relief flared up, then died just as quickly. What was Frostbite still doing here? Silverlily stared at her Clanmate with wide eyes. Common sense told her that the fastest way to ensure both her safety and Frostbite's would be to dive headfirst into the fire to get to a place that wasn't burning. Yet her innate instincts screamed at her to avoid the scorching heat at all costs. Her stomach churned as she eyed the flames. No time, she thought. I have to make a decision now. If I don't get out, Frostbite will come in to save me. And she'll get burned. This was my own fault, so I'll bear the consequences. The grey she-cat crouched, slitted her eyes against the heat, and leaped forward before she could change her mind. Silverlily blindly directed her paws toward where she'd last seen Frostbite. Her entire body was screaming with pain, and she could smell burning hair and charred skin. She stumbled once, and the left side of her face struck a flaming branch, but she righted herself and kept going. The entire ordeal couldn't have lasted more than a few moments, but it seemed like hours to her. When Silverlily finally stumbled back onto cool earth again, she was practically unrecognizable. A lot of her formerly sleek grey fur had been burned off, especially around her legs, belly, shoulders, and chest. The side of her face that had gone into direct contact with the fire was entirely scorched. Her left eye was swollen shut.

((I have been asked by Lilacstar to roleplay as her. She said she was out of town, and wanted me to do it. If you want proof, I can send a screenshot of her asking me to do it. ))

Lilacstar looked at Sunfire, eyes widening at the terrible shape he was in. As he collapsed, she gasped, rushing to his side.
"Sunfi-"
"No," Sunfire wheezed, "Get out of here. The clan needs you more than they need-" he coughed, "-me."
Lilacstar looked worriedly at her deputy.
"I'll be okay." Sunfire attempted to reassure her, his tone of voice not doing the deed, "Just... just go."
Lilacstar nodded and touched noses with her deputy before holding in a deep breath and darting out of camp, keeping her eyes as squinted as possible. She headed in the direction of the Moonpool, seeing the silhouettes of the apprentices.
Sunfire slowly got up, shaking badly. He slowly started to pad out of camp, barely making it through the flame untouched. As he reached the group of apprentices and the leader, he collapsed to the ground once more, just in front of Mosspaw.

Mosspaw watched. Her eyes widened with terror. "S-Sunfire!" She cried and ran towards him. "Get up Sunfire! C-" she broke out in a dry, raspy cough as her cry continued. "Come on." She pleaded and nudged his cheek. She glanced back at the rest of the cats. Tears streamed from her eyes and she turned back to him. Please don't be happen! Please don't let this happen. she pleaded to her ancestors and continued to try to get him up once more.

((Is there even a medicine cat in this RP? Also, I totally forgot to RP as Forestblaze, I'll just say she's with the group of cats.))

Forestblaze rushed to her son's side, her heart dropping. "He's going to make it, right?" she thought to herself, though she knew the answer. She buried her nose into Sunfire's pelt, her eyes lightly closed. His fur smelled of smoke.
Sunfire coughed loudly, feeling death slowly start to overtake him. He felt wore about leaving Forestblaze than the clan. The clan can manage, but Forestblaze knows that he won't be in either Starclan or the Dark Forest. He'll be gone forever, and Forestblaze will never see him again.
"I'm sorry." Sunfire choked, before coughing again, air failing to get in his lungs. Forestblaze knew he was talking to her. He let one last chain of coughs before he stopped breathing.

Frostbite gasped in absolute horror when she saw Silverlily fling herself through the raging flames. "No! Silverlily!" she  yowled. When Silverlily finally made it out of the flames, Frostbite had to do everything in her power not to cringe and look away, so she steadied her bearings and leaned down. "Come on Silverlily! You'll be fine!" She slipped underneath the she-cat and lifted her up, wincing when the smoke still drifting from Silverlily's fur stung at her pelt. She slowly made her way towards the other cats. "Someone! Help Silverlily!" she yowled, gently setting the other cat on the floor. "Please hurry!"
