IceClan Information Sheet (Closed Group)
Clan Name: IceClan
Clan Badge:
Clan Members:
Leader - Scarlett
Warriors - Dusk, Nyx, Noxe, Phasma, Specter, Titan
Description: IceClan is a small Clan of elite cats who used to be rogues but since banded together. They live up on the snowy mountains in a large fortress that was abandoned by Twolegs long before any of the Clan cats lived down in the forested valley below. Though they are fewer in number, they are some of the most formidable opponents. They use claws reinforced with shark's teeth and have many traps set throughout their fortress home that only the true members know how to navigate though.
Territory & Landmarks: IceClan's territory is situated high on the frozen slopes of Mt. Umbre. It snows almost year-round on the mountain, and unless you know the terrain well, it's easy to get lost. Few intruders dare to venture here.
The Abandoned Fortress: A large, formidable structure long abandoned by Twolegs. The halls are a winding labyrinth, and assorted traps and pitfalls help guard the castle. The fortress is drafty and cold, but has held up suprisingly well against the elements. This is where the IceClan cats make their camp.
The Silver Lake: A well-hidden lake situated in the recesses of the Eternal Forest. IceClan apprentices, as part of their last initiation process, have to travel here on their own to dip their claws into the poison-waters. Their liquid sharpens their claws and coats it in a poison that can cause momentary paralysis. Only IceClan cats know the location of this lake.
Special Traits: These cats have the ability to go anywhere the please without making the slightest sound or giving the faintest indication that they have been there. Their presence is known only if they allow it. Often times they will send one or two of the warriors into the Clan territories to spy on their affairs and are known to watch and listen in at the gathering from a distance. These cats are exceptionally skilled hunters and fighters as well, due to their special claws and intense daily training. They have abnormally thick coats and pads, which allow them to trek through snow and ice without falling victim to the bone chilling cold of their mountain home. And due to the conditions they are subjected to, the altitude has no effect on them. They breathe as easily at the mountain top as they do in the valley while the other Clans often fall victim to altitude sickness and troubled breathing.
Lifestyle & Up-bringing: These cats are well-rounded and excel in terms of speed and strength. During their younger moons, they are sent out everyday to do alternate exercises, which include running, fighting, hunting and many more. It is noticed that IceClan apprentices are a lot tougher than apprentices from other Clans. Before their warrior ceremony, these apprentices are tasked to travel all the way to the Silver Lake, a small lake with strange silvery liquid, very far from IceClan's fortress, to dip their claws into. The sticky liquid helps to sharpen their claws and at the same time, coats it with a poison that causes momentary paralysis. However, the poison can only last up to a moon.
After these cats are recognized as fully fledged members of IceClan, their training is made tougher and they continue to practice daily to improve their skills and to make sure that if there is a chance they are attacked, they can quickly and easily conquer whatever the threat is. The warriors learn at a young age that the leader calls all of the shots definitely, and its expected that they respect his or her word without question. Loyalty is a highly commended trait in the Clan and is often rewarded for. Each cat gets their own room in the fortress, with which they can decorate and use as they please. After their recognition as a warrior, they are taught the more intricate workings of the fortress, like the traps set for trespassers and the secret shortcuts. But this knowledge is given only to the most trusted.

The lake when fully recognized warriors dip their clans in a poisonous fluid during their recognition phase or before battles.
History: IceClan members all started out as rogues, but once they grew tired of a solitary life they sought out the company of other driven cats like themselves. Shuriken was the first pronounced leader. When the Clan was under his charge, they reigned as the most feared of all of the Clans. After they found the territory in the mountains, they settled into the old abandoned fortress and made that their home.
A few moons later, the formation of IceClan became well known throughout the territories. RiverClan was battling ThunderClan at that time for the rights to Sunningrocks which ThunderClan currently had. Brightstar, RiverClan's leader at the time, had heard rumors of IceClan's strength and the special resources from where they obtained the means to strengthen their claws, and sought out Shuriken for help. After a considerable amount of bribing, the cost for IceClan's help in RiverClan's victory was their knowledge of fishing. The IceClan cats followed RiverClan's patrol back to their camp where they were taught what they needed and when the right time came, IceClan pulled out a devastating defeat over ThunderClan and won RiverClan the rights to Sunningrocks.
It wasn't long before ShadowClan grew curious about IceClan's power, and the ShadowClan deputy, Shadowstorm, sought out to find these cats and steal the secrets to their success over ThunderClan. Little time passed after he crossed the border before he was discovered. The IceClan members quickly took the deputy back to the fortress and fed him a few poisonous berries before locking him away. The other Clans quickly gathered. While ThunderClan and WindClan initially sided with IceClan, Shadowclan, AwesomeClan, SkyClan and RiverClan banded together to try to rescue Shadowstorm. The WindClan leader, Lotus-star, instantly regretted siding with IceClan after realizing the Icestar, who was Shadowclan's leader, was Shadowstorm's mate. She sympathized with her because she was mates with her own deputy, Honeytongue.
WindClan later snuck out of the IceClan fortress under the cover of the night. Even though this put ThunderClan and IceClan at a disadvantage in terms of numbers, the number of opposing warriors lost were too many to keep track of by the time the Clans were able to get to the ShadowClan deputy. Among those numbers was Shadowstorm himself, who succumbed to the poisoning before he had a chance at being rescued. Exhausted and devastated, the other Clans were chased out of the fortress and IceClan was scarcely heard from since. Until now...
