My Trip to UK!

Guys, I just came back from a 10 day trip in United Kingdom!
Amazing, isn't it? (Well unless you live there haha)


It was early winter and freezing! Around 6 degrees Celsius omg and in SG its 31 degrees Celsius.
THE DIFFERENCE.
I'm just writing to share my experiences hehehe, went to London, Oxford, Bath, Wales and Stratford upon Avon! Well my trip wasn't a vacation, it was a school literature trip! Not very educational so no worries

Anyone here from UK, or have been there?

I'm from the UK! First snow today! Yay! Last year we got snow in October. I have been abroad once and that was to Mallorca in Spain. I was nine when we went. I get rain a lot where I live, and we didn't get rain in a whole week in Mallorca! Achievement!

Blackstone, just curious, which part of UK do you live in?

Well it rains a lot here in Singapore too (: I've only been to Malaysia, Surabaya (in Indonesia) and Thailand.

Scotland. I've only been to England three times in my whole life (12 years).

I spent a month there last year.

How was it?

Beautiful during Christmas time. They didn't have a whole lot of snow but it was definitely very festive where i was staying in Darby.

My cousin went to Florida in July. Lucky thing.

I never been to the UK, I've never been outside of North America. But I'll probably visit sometime! What's it like, beside the depressing weather?

It was probably the first time I've ever experienced such cold weather! Was pretty depressing the first few days but I got used to it. I even miss the weather ^~^

Oh the food consists a lot of chips sandwhiches pasta hahaha (no rice ): !) The scenery was amazing! The best thing about UK is the environment. Oxford is really into being environmentally friendly. Bath has this strict rule that every building has to fit in with every other. So basically a lot of creamy white oldish buildings

Wales is really nice. I went up a small hill and got a breathtaking view of small rows of houses and greenery. You definitely don't get to see these in Singapore. We're just an overpopulated city with lots of trees.

The people there are really friendly too :-) Oh and cute guys hahahaha

Fish and chips is the UK national food I think. You see a lot of chippies around And you see a lot of pies in Scotland. Just something random, but I have copper sulphate stuck under my fingernails. XD
