The full moon rose and danger began to lurk in the woods. Prey left there homes and predators hunted. Paws stepped silently and wings never fluttered in the night. Eyes shine in bushes. Predators become prey and prey becomes a predator. Long paws close there windows and doors. Wolves run from long paws and death is brought to the pack.

We are a pack of rare wolves. Long paws hunt us. We are the last pack that survived the wrath of the long paws. We wanna run free and not become and long paws coat of scarf. Normal wolves despise us and also try to kill us. We have different ablities than others. We stick together till the end. We are blood pack. Our abilities help us survive even if we die.

Rochester went with Winter leaving Mike, Naomi, and Ricky behind.

Naomi liked and liked faster. The pup was getting warm.

Mike just stood on his paws shocked at his brother's sickness.

Winter suddenly thought of something. Maybe it's my fault Ricky is sick! He's cold, and I have the powers to make stuff cold and all wintery and stuff! But she shook that thought away. The pup wasn't only cold, he had white/green cough. She didn't have the powers of giving pups white/green cough!

Miststar calmed her self down a went to lay on the sun rock. " winter will help ricky" she thought and hopped. She laid her head down looking at the setting sun.

Nouri wandered to the nursery. "You know....I could warm him, if you'd like..." the brown brute was already radiating a comforting warmth.

Miststar walked in the nursery. She felt the heat as she walked in. She stood near nouri. The heat singed her fur to her skin. she quickly jumped back. " wow nouri that heat is really hot. Impressive." she licked the place were her fur was singed.

Nouri chuckled. "Thanks. It's convenient in the winter time. You okay? Didn't know it was quite so intense." he tuned the heat down a bit.

" its fine. Heat turns water in to vapor so its not your fault. just try to keep the pup as warm as you can. do worry about me" she turned away to look at the setting sun.

~ignore Cosmic's dialogue to Miststar.~

"I'm going back to camp." Cosmic's fur stood on end and her ears were flattened. Without waiting for a response, she raced off toward camp.

Curlie exchanged a look with his brother. Someone's in an excellent mood...

Cosmic arrived at the camp and saw a flurry of activity in the nursery. She poked her head in; it felt really warm in there. Looking around, she saw Miststar by a nest. "Miststar, there are Longpaws-" Suddenly she spotted Nouri. "Hey Nouri.." If wolves could blush, Cosmic would have done so. Wrenching her gaze away, she continued relating what she saw to Miststar.

Nouri looked up from where he lay beside Ricky and smiled. "Hey there, Cosmic." his blue eyes brightened a it. He then cleared his throat and stared at the pup. "Maybe we should add a bit of water to the air? Steam helps the sickly...or that's what I've found..."

Miststar ran to the water hole and got her pelt wet. She came back soaked. She shook her pelt a drips of water flew from her pelt. She caught all the drops and shot them in the air. She wagged her tail to control the mist. she spreaded it all over the nursery so that were ever the pup was he would be cool. " the mist will remain here until sunrise" she quietly barked.

"That's a good idea," Cosmic said, trying to create an illusion of comfort and safety for the pup. As she moved aside to let Miststar work, her fur brushed Nouri's and she gazed at him, heart dancing

Curlie got up and trotted away, calling back over his shoulder, "I'm going to get my fawn."

"Oh, want me to help?" Cyrus asked, following the young wolf.

Nouri felt Cosmic's pelt brush his and grinned happily at her. "I hope this guy gets better soon. I wonder what his powers are?"

Cosmic smiled back at Nouri. "I love pups... I hope he'll survive." She looked back down at the little form in the nest, a mist of worry slowly wiping the smile away. Cosmic sat down, studying the little face.

Curlie nodded. "Sure. It's this way..." He bounded through the forest, stopping occasionally to check the scent. He looked around and spotted the fawn. Curlie trotted over to the carcass, legs elongating and form growing larger as he walked. He grasped the fawn's neck. "It's so heavy..."

Nouri's expression softened. "He reminds me of Cyrus when we were pups. Our mother left, so it was just me there to care for him....it was terrifying, but Cyrus was strong-willed."

Cyrus took a hold of the fawn's back legs. "This'll feed a good part of the pack though." he rumbled over the carcass.

Cosmic looked at Nouri. "If you were brave enough to care for Cyrus by yourself, then you are no less strong-willed than he is." She leaned against him a little.

"Yeah... thanks," Curlie mumbled around the carcass. "Ready?" He started walking toward camp.

Nouri looked at his paws,smirking. "Thank you, but I just wanted my brother to be happy...I didn't want to have to feel abandoned like I did when she left." The heat intensified a moment before he realized it was too hot for the pup and turned back down.

Cyrus nodded and helped Curly heft the deer back to camp.

Cosmic sighed and sent Nouri what comfort she could and returned to watching the pup for any signs of movement. Please don't let a pup die at such a young age... she prayed.

Curlie placed the head of the fawn on the prey pile [I don't want to use freshkill because that's too much like Warriors]. He shrank back into his normal form, rolling his sore shoulders. His eyes wandered around the camp until they rested on the nursery. "What's going on there?" he questioned.

(Lol, oops.)

Cyrus trotted toward the nursery. "dunno, let's find out!" He padded in next to his brother and winced. "It's hot in here!"

Nouri smiled at his brother. "I think it's pretty nice."

"Says the heat-wolf." Cyrus retorted with a chuckle.

Cosmic looked up. "If it's hot in here, it's because of me," she joked.

Curlie followed Cyrus to the nursery. It was hot and pretty crowded in there. "What's going on?"

"Ricky is sick," replied Cosmic.

Curlie noted how she had her fur pressed against Nouri's and she seemed distracted. "I'll just... wait outside then," he said, and backed out. More like I'm going outside to barf...

Lanon walked into the nursery and saw the sick pup. "Is there anything I could do to help?" he asked. "Maybe I could help look for medcine since I'm able to reach a lot of places where others can't." He would be able to look for herbs under bushs, and other spaces as a mouse.

Gaia had followed Cosmic into the nursery, her eyes alight with curiosity. "That's... too bad," she said quietly, peering into the darkness of the nursery. "It's not often pups are born sick." The wolf jostled Curlie on his way out, and she shot him an amused look. "We'll train later, okay?"

Luna mainly slept through the day and waited for night to come. today was unusually because she came out a sunset when she usually came out at low moon. " what's going on here" she wondered. She flipped her fur back over one eye.

Miststar turned around and walked out of the nursery. Since she saw ricky sick it has brought back the memory of her pup. She looked at the moon starting to rise and the sun was nowhere to be seen. she grabbed some water." want me to see if my water heal will help a little" she sighed in pain.
