First topic message reminder :

Hey! This is Phoenixflare. Since the old Skyclan rpg was inactive, I decided to make a new one! ^.^ Any WCF member can join!

Rules:

• No godmodding

• Make it realistic. Don't have your cat just kill a badger, a dog or a fox single-handed. Nobody can do that, except for Lionblaze

• No spamming, so no really short posts, like

  Badgerfang went and hunted and came back to camp

• Please have fun!

Lunarpaw shivered. She was never going to get any sleep tonight, if the rain kept on going. She still had no mentor, which made days at camp REALLY boring. She couldn't hunt (cause she didn't know how) and she couldn't fight. "I'm probably not even going to be able to hunt properly cause I can't climb trees..." Lunarpaw thought out loud.

Am I too late to join?

Bramblesky padded over to Lunarpaw.
"Do you want to train when it stops raining? I could teach you how to hunt when it's damp," Bramblesky meowed/

Emeraldsky walked into the center of the SkyClan clearing and let the rain soak his thick fur. He sniffed in the humid air and smiled. He enjoyed the small projectile-like droplets wetting his ginger pelt.

"Sure," mewed Lunarpaw, " But, what are we going to do about me? I mean, not being able to climb trees." Lunarpaw, for whatever strange reason, could not climb a tree. She didn't even know why.

"Well, that's what a mentor is for,, they teach you how to do things yo don't know how to do young Lunarpaw," Bramblesky answered gently.

"How about learning to hunt in trees?" Bramblesky asked. He wanted to teach her as much as possible so that Lunarpaw could be the best apprentice and warrior ever.

"Sure!" Lunarpaw meowed," So, do we start when the rain stops?" . As much as she wanted to learn to climb a tree, she didn't want to be in the rain.

"Yes, we'll go once the rain stops," Bramblesky answered. The rain had settled to a steady sprinkle.

"Alrighty!" Lunarpaw meowed happily, "It looks like it's about to stop, so lets head out."

Bramblesky nodded and padded out of the camp with Lunarpaw.
"Now, what do you think is most important that you need to know about running on trees?" Bramblesky asked as they halted at a long tree row.

"Ummmmm.... Having your claws out?" Lunarpaw guessed, "Or.....Having enough speed to run up?"

"No! You need balance and concentration, but yes you do use you claws as part of balance," Bramblesky meowed.
"Balance is important, if you don't have it you''ll fall out of the tree. I will show you what branches you should run on then I'll teach you to run on trees," Bramblesky explained.
"And speed just makes cats fall off cause' you may misstep something and fall if your going to fast," Bramblesky added.

"Oh....Balance...Right..." Lunarpaw meowed, "I knew that. So, how do I get UP the tree?"

Phoenixflare padded out of the camp. Her legs were aching from sitting so long. She raised her muzzle and opened it. Bramblesky and Lunarpaw! She bounded over to the two. "Hey!" she called. "How's your climbing coming along, Lunarpaw?" she added. She flicked her tail warmly at her mate and turned back to Lunarpaw.

~Phoenix there not in camp,~

"Follow me," Bramblesky padded to a tree and unsheathed his claws. He crouched down and looked up. He wiggled his haunches and launched himself up. He gripped a branch and hauled himself up.
"Get down low and push off the ground like your jumping after a butterfly," Bramblesky called down, he stretched his paw out just in case.
"I'll grab you and pull you up,"he assured the apprentice.
