Dappleleaf was busy all day. she was preparing to move out of the warriors' den and into the queen's den. It was empty. No one had used it in a long time. She would spend her time all alone in this den wouldn't she....? She sat down and stared at the sky. the sun was setting. She enjoyed the silence actually. Maybe she would enjoy being like this..

Dappleleaf circled around her nest, gathering the moss to make her den cozier. her stomach growled. She climbed down and picked out a plump robin. She climbed back up and began to eat her robin, thinking of her kits. She wondered what they would look like. Would they look like her or her mate? She dreamed of them while she finshed her robin.

Sunpaw wanted to see her sister Dappleleaf and see if the kits will be here soon.She wanted to be a queen herself but she needed to be a warrior first.Her warrior ceremony would be soon anyways.

Dappleleaf finished her robin. When she was finished, the silverpelt was shining bright. She got up and circled her bed, moving her legs so it won't become stiff. She was excited for her sister. She was going to be a warrior very soon. She thought happily about it.She layed her head down.

~ What do you know! I'm a queen too! But I already had my kits. Can they be great friends when yours are born? ~

Phoenixflare, you shall be accepted !

~ Yay! ~

Phoenixflare padded out of the nursery and to Dappleleaf, her kits stumbling around her feet, chasing each other around. "Are you ready to become a queen?" she purred. "I'm glad to have company. "It's so lonely in there, besides the kits," she added.

Dappleleaf forgot about Phoenixflare. "Yes, I've always wanted to be a queen as a kit." She mewed "And, I'm glad to see all your kits are healthty." she added looking at them. She purred in laughter.

Phoenixflare gazed down at the kits tumbling around her paws. "Yes," she purred. "They're little trouble makers, especially Blackkit. He loevs fooling around, but he has a great hunter's crouch already and is a mighty fighter. There's no doubt all of them are going to grow up to become one of the best warriors in the clan. Yours too."

Sunpaw decided to see how Dappleleaf was doing. Sunpaw padded in the nursery "Hello Dappleleaf, how are your kits?" Sunpaw asked.

"Sunny, are you supposed to be here? I don't want to shoo you off, but I don't want you to get in trouble." Dappleleaf mewed. She circled around her nest again. The she-cat sat up and gave her chest a quick lick.She turned towards Phoenixflare. Dappleleaf nodded. "I hope my kits aren't naughty like yours." she said amusement. She layed down. "Sit down, I'm sure your tired." The she-cat mewed. Dappleleaf began to groom herself.

~ Wait.. did you already have your kits or not? ~

Phoenixflare sat down. She looked at the kits and mewed, "Go and ask the elders to tell you a story. They tell great stories." The kits scampered off and Phoenixflare sighed. "Gosh, they sure are a handful, but I love them very much."

Dappleleaf purred. She enjoyed kits.She thought they were cute and lovable. A light drizzle peppered the ground. "Rain, haven't seen that in moons." Dappleleaf mewed. She looked outside.. She was glad to have a cozy den with company. She silently thanked Starclan for what she had.

"Yes Dappleleaf I'm aloud to be here." Sunpaw said "Or am I not accepted." Sunpaw added with a purr of amusement.

Phoenixflare looked at Sunpaw. "Oh hey Sunpaw!" she purred. "I didn't see you there. Come on in!" She beckoned with her tail and made room for Sunpaw to sit down.

Dappleleaf shook her head. "So, you are becoming a warrior soon right?" She mewed. "I remeber when I became a warrior, I was soo excited, I could have been up for moons!" Dappleleaf mewed with laughter.

Phoenixflare nodded. "She's doing great in her training." She gazed at Sunpaw. "You're going to become a great warrior," she purred.

"Thank you Phoenix!That means a lot coming from you!" Sunpaw mewed excitedly."So how are the kits?" Sunpaw asked again this tme hoping for an answer.

~just as a note guys, RPs need to have action, so posts can't just be two sentences each of conversation. go hunting, get herbs, visit your mate, do something other than talking ~

~ Oops... O.o ~

Phoenixflare's kits scampered back together. "Dappleleaf," she mewed. "Can you watch my kits for me? I feel like going out to hunt a little." She padded out of the nursery and into the forest. She climbed up a tree and sniffed the air. Squirrel! She stalked the scent until she found a squirrel nibbling on an acorn. She gave a mighty leap and caught the squirrel square in her claws. She gave the killing blow and dropped down from the tree. Phoenixflare caught a few more mice and voles, and a robin. She padded back to camp, laden with prey. Phoenixflare dropped them onto the fresh-kill pile and went into the nursery again.

Dappleleaf watched Phoenixflare leave and return. The kits wrestled each other. "Phoenixflare, do you mind if I go find my mate?" She mewed.

Phoenixflare nodded. "Sure." Dreamkit had started pouncing on her tail. The other kits joined in. They started to pounce on Phoenixflare's long black tail but everytime Phoenixflare moved it out of the way, creating a game for the energetic kits.

"Well I will see you later then." Sunpaw whispered as she turned and ran out of the nursery.She decided to go hunting. She could smell a squirrel and a mouse both close by.She found the mouse first nice and plump. She stalked it until it froze to eat a berry.She leaped up and on top of the mouse.In one blow the mouse was dead.She kicked the dirt over it for later. She saw the squirrel to but it had scampered up into the nearby tree and was to high up for Sunpaw to climb.She padded back to the clearing and caught 2 more mice and a robin. She put the fresh-kill on the pile and walked over to the apprentice's den. She was exhausted so she took a nice long nap.
