"Okay." Darkflower beckoned BRiarheart over. "Watch carefully." Briarheart leaped at her oppponent. Darkflower slipped to one side, but, Briarheart landed anyway, twisted on her hide paws, and gripped Darkflower's shoulders.

Icestar sat at the edge of the clearing, watching the progress of her Clanmates. Unnoticed, she observed Darkflower helping with Willowpaw's training. We have so many warriors, why not double up warriors? Two warriors teaching was certantly better than one. I'll make the announcement later.

Talonstrike watched from a rocky outcrop, making no sound at all. He was part of the rock. His sharp eye-sight could tell him that a tasty mouse was hiding beneath a holly bush just outside the training hollow, but he made no move to hunt it. Talonstrike stayed watching the cats. If he was to fight them someday, he would have to know their weaknesses.

Nightfrost walked up to the cats. Darkpaw pounced on Bluestripe, claws sheathed. They wrestled for a while until Brightstar called out. "That was good!" piped Nightfrost. "Just try waiting a little longer, just to agitate the enemy." Darkpaw nodded and got ready to pounce again.

Max sighed and submerged back underwater. Unlike the eagle, Talonstrike, Max didn't enjoy watching cats do pointless activities. Max swam back out to the lake to stretch.

Fernleaf yelped as she felt Runningpaw sweep her off her legs. A moment later, she felt paws digging into her fur. "I win!" Runningpaw yowled gleefully. "Not quite," Fernleaf grunted. She slipped to one side, out of the ginger apprentice's grasp. Fernleaf easily knocked over Runningpaw. "Next time, "Fernleaf said sternly. "No gloating."

Cowboy barked in surprise and staggered, but he didn't fall over. He was too heavy.
