Streamfur's 100 Oneshots #1 unfinished

Leafmoon closed her eyes as she touched her nose to Moonstone, but instead of waking up in the peaceful forests of Starclan, she was surrounded by darkness. Beware the cat with the eyes of death, but don't make her your enemy... Images of terror and death filled her mind, but all she could focus on were the two blood red eyes, staring at her from the darkness.

"Mommy, I've opened my eyes!" Grasskit mewed as she poked Dawnflower, who was still asleep. A pale light was filtering through the small gaps in the den, and she had woken up to the sound of a patrol leaving the camp. Dawnflower slowly blinked open her eyes, and then gasped as she saw her kit.

"Mommy! Whats wrong!" she mewed as Dawnflower raced out of the nursery straight towards a den that smelled like herbs. She reconized the scent from when herbs were brought into the nursery for Dawnflower, to help her milk come. Grasskit slowly crept out of the nursery and looked into a puddle outside to see what she looked like. Her fur was light brown, with darker brown stripes along her back, and her tail was long and fluffy. She noticed that she looked a lot like her mother, except for her eyes. When she looked into the puddle, she saw that they were red. Blood red.

Grasskit looked up and saw a cat racing out from the den that her mother had disappeared into. When Grasskit looked at her, the cat's eyes were filled with fear. She could her the cat quietly whispering, "The cat with the eyes of death....."
"Whats wrong with me!" Grasskit shouted, before running back into the nursery. She sat down by her brother, Reedkit.
"What happened?" he asked, "Did you get in trouble for something?"
"No," she mewed, "The one cat said something about my eyes."
"I think you have great eyes!" Reedkit mewed, "I doesn't matter what they think!"
Grasskit smiled, and said, "You're right."

Grasskit woke to a paw nudging her. "Reedkit, I'm too sleepy to play right now." It nudged her harder and she opened her eyes to see that it was her mother.
"I have something to show you, Grasskit." The young kit got up from the nest and was about to wake up Reedkit, but her stopped her. "It's only for you." Maybe this is to apologize about being not liking my eyes! Grasskit happily followed her mother to the corner of the camp, all the way to a new den.
"Whos den is this?" she mewed. She had never seen it before, and she was sure that it hadn't been there yesterday.
"Yours." Dawnflower meowed. Dawnflower was staring at she like she was a fox living in the camp instead of her kit.
"Why can't I stay in the nursery with you and Reedkit?" Grasskit mewed. Dawnflower didn't answer, and just walked away to the nusery. Maybe Reedkit is living in his own den too...
