Monthly Gatherings!!!

I thought it would be cool to RP a Gathering every full moon! On the calender, we'd have a Gathering on every full moon, made by an administrator. Does anyone else like this idea? Tell me your thoughts! :DDD

Actually I think it would be really nice to do but it would mean everyone would have to be on. It's just a thought and I know that it may not be fair for those who don't get chosen but I'm not sure how else to do that part. At least this way it's like the book?

It seems like a good idea, but from past experience, it never really works out well. People end up not coming for one thing or the other and it becomes a big flop. Plus I believe this suggestion was raised before, and declined?

after a while, it becomes a chore to update it i think.

people have different timezones, too, so deciding when to start it would be hard. also, what would we talk about each month? we may have an Official RPG going on sometimes, but when there isn't, it would kind of be useless to just post an entire RPG about made up, not very important happenings in daily Clan life :/

I think it's a pretty good idea but I have to agree with Cheezestar. What do we do if everybody doesn't know when to get on. That's a major problem right there.

Yes, I agree. This is a thoughtful idea but it may prove a bit too difficult for some of the inactive leaders. Even if a POV is selected each time, they may minimize their post or accidentally roleplay the actual leader. But I like the way of thought process here. Maybe we could root something out of this suggestion.

This suggestion has been brought up several times actually but always rejected. Reasons have been stated above so ... I'm not against the idea though. It's just pretty pointless since the gathering roleplays are almost always about the same things.

I guess it'd be hit-or-miss If it was scheduled, a few people would miss it, but at least everyone would know when to be on. If it went on for a weekend or something, then people would have more of a chance to participate. Maybe there could even be like a countdown. 'The Full Moon will be in __ days' or something.

I think there was such thing before...They were cancelled because of people always missing it. I think it's a good idea, though! And Windy's idea was great!

And about inactive leaders...Don't you remember Secrets of the Clans?
