Dunno why I chose the MacNamara clan's Careg Gaer...So, It's a Wolves of the Beyond RP. Has anyone heard of the series?

Quinn silently joined Morpheus and his sister. She nuzzled his thick fur gently, his scent familiar to her nose. "The byrrgis is starting, hm?" she mumbled. "I hope the packers find some big game." The lower class wolves amused her greatly.

Mira nodded swiftly at Namara's orders before bounding off. She knew where caribou (using Canadian animals Razz

) often went to feed in the lichen. Snaking around a ring of evergreen, she sniffed the ground vigorously. The rotten scent of dung was becoming more apparent and she continued her search.

Any more packer people? xD

Ceilidh nodded, and went to the place where they usually do the gadderglutter. Alicia stayed behind, as usual. She stared back at Spitz, who was staring at her, as if saying: I am the Obea. That's all I do. It is my job, my charge, and I'm happy with it. I do it for the sake of the pack, the clan.

Mira found a heap of dung, slightly dried but the flies hadn't gathered yet. The caribou must have been here at most two nights ago. She growled a small signal to the others to tell them she found something. Responding, they all made their way back to base. Mira found Ceilidh and dipped her head. "I've found caribou dung, quite fresh, a little to the east," she reported.

Quinn joined her fellow skreeleen when she saw the packers return. Big game! Tonight we shall either feast well or come back starving, she thought, amused.

Morpheous licked his mate's cheek affectionately then padded to Mira. "Exactly how fresh? Like just passed an hour ago or days?" His eyes narrowed on the she-wolf. When it came to hunting, he was exact and very serious. It was his hobby and life. To be able to feed his pack made him feel strong and capable even though his muscular build already told that.

"Spitz." Falon said affectionately licking her mate's nose. Fluffing out her coat again, she could feel the excitement in the air; tonight is a hunt night, and even the pups could sense the excitement. Grinning, she felt confident that everyone, except those dreadful gnaw-wolves would have full bellies tonight!

"Um, well, they seemed to be from last night, but no earlier than two nights ago," Mira stuttered, the handsome wolf's penetrating gaze affecting her speech. "Either way, we should try to set out as soon as possible since caribou can travel pretty fast when they want to."

Quinn listened to the young she-wolf. When she noticed her unwavering glance on Morpheus, she snuggled against his flank a little more.

Morpheous nodded then broke into a hyper grin. It seemed like he was about to howl in excitement. "Alright! Lets get going! Spitz, c'mon! What're we waiting for, winter?" He barked bubbly. His yellow gaze was bright and playful again. Nuzzling his mate he gave her a wink before dashing toward the lead hunter and nipping Spitz's flank gently. "We gotta catch up, hurry up!"

Spitz flashed his teeth at the nip, but otherwise said nothing. "Let's hunt!" he called. The dark fur in his shoulders lifted in anticipation as he broke into a trot across the snow. The wolves would follow, he knew. The Byrrgis leader moved with fluid, powerful grace; he was a dark shadow on the blindingly white snow.

Ceilidh nodded, and watched as Mira padded away with her tail tucked in.(I'm not godmobbing, gnaw wolves have to do that all the time!) And she howled to the clan: "Caribou spotted towards the marrow! Prepare the byrrgis!" Alicia was there, just so she could get a taste of meat. Obeas fed before gnaw wolves, but they are still hungrier than most wolves.

Quinn joined in with Ceilidh, their simultaneous howling heard by the whole Clan. She was dying to sink her teeth into a meaty caribou.

Mira sat to the side, knowing the routine well. She watched the others, knowing her duty was done for now.

Alicia stared at the wolves. She had more wild imagination than most Obeas, even too much for an ordinary wolf. She wondered what it was like to be in a byrrgis, loping beside her packmates at attack speed. She wondered about her mother's daily life, and other wolves. Even the gnaw wolves. She was unranked, and always wondered what it was like to be ranked. Finally, she shook her head. I am an Obea, for Lupus' sake! I shouldn't be having these thoughts!

Falon snorted as she watched the Obea daydream. I mean sure, she felt bad for the lowly she-wolf, but she shouldn't be around pups, and pack life.
: For lups's sake, the she-wolf should never of been an Obea. But now we're stuck with her." Falon thought angrily, her eyes narrowing. She hated the gnaw-wolves and obea's, and every wolf knew it.
A brindle wolf pup, and a silver wolf pup bounded up to the obea, but Falon quickly shepherded them away; asking them about their parents.

Spitz quickened his pace to a steady lope through the snow. The wolves could keep up with this pace forever, and iwhile it ate up the distance beneath their paws, t would save enough of their energy for the actual hunt. Fierce fire flashed in his yellow eyes as he ran, feeling the old thrill of leading the byrrgis in the hunt. Spitz would already taste fresh meat on in tongue.
