You Find Out Who Your Friends Are

Meet Dareik. He's just your average, every day seventeen year old. Well, except that he's a noble, dreamy, stinking rich prince. He's the son of the notorious King Henri IV of a kingdom that spans the whole continent of Terris. King Henri's kingdom was named Gaia after his late wife. Gaia died giving birth to Dareik and the King has been a brooding mess ever since. What no one but the most trusted Assasins of Gaia know is that ever since his beloved wife's death, King Henri has been plotting the demise of his son. Treating him well and such so he wouldn't suspect a thing, the mentally unstable monarchy indulged in the thought of torturing his unsuspecting child daily. It's just a matter of time before his plot unfolds on Dareik's eighteenth birthday in three weeks. A few of the trusted Assassins have realized how insane they leader is and have vowed to protect the crowned prince secretly until his eighteenth birthday, which is also the day he is supposed to inherit the crown as King. These Assassins call themselves 'the Four'. The whole group is full of four whom are the ones that are knowledgeable of the evil plans of King Henri first hand. About seven other men and women know and were told by the Four. These people will fight to tell the Prince of his father's true side and help him overthrow the madman. It will be a struggle and huge battle, but not as impossible as it seems when a legend of shape-shifters and wizards come to help in the revolt. Will they succeed in their quest to stop their evil monarch, or utterly fail?
