DF Discussion: Territory
We haven't really thought of the places of the Dark Forest, so every member, do contribute and create a special landmark for Dark Forest members to train. Once we're settled with this, we'll continue the RP! (:
Here are what we have so far...
Jagged Rock - A large boulder with rough jagged edges that can pierce through fur if not careful standing on it. A place in the middle of camp where the leaders of Dark Forest makes announcements.
Dark River - A river with water as dark as the night sky. It's always still, unlike most rivers. A popular training areas for apprentices in water combat.
Whispering Willows - A forest of willow trees, rumoured to be haunted with evil spirits. Sometimes if you listen closely enough, you can hear voices. Located very far from the camp. Very few know of this place.
Memory Flower - A wilted pink flower with a pool of water around it, sometimes stained with blood, located near the Whispering Willows. Only the dead can see it and look into past memories.
Idea contribution by Forestblaze.
Death Tree - A massive oak near the edge of camp, where the leaders welcome new recruits and the newly dead, at the edge of the camp.
Idea contribution by Sparkflame.
Tunnels of Despair -An eerie tunnel with spooky features. Sometimes, when you go in, you hear deep growls of foxes and badgers. Other times, you can hear whispering of the faded Dark Forest cats. Apprentices come here to test their bravery, intelligence, and tunnel skills. Some apprentices would go in and never come out. Starts at the edge of the camp, goes all the way around the territory with some dead ends.
Idea contribution by Doveshine.

What do you mean by middle of main clearing? What main clearing? The camp? Wouldn't that be weird? How about I have it near the Whispering Willows?

Re: DF Discussion: Territory
Forestblaze, yours is accepted and added.
Sunbeam, yours has been rejected. Firstly, we already have the Jagged Rock for leaders to make announcements (similar to the Highrock in ThunderClan). Secondly, your landmark isn’t really a landmark. It’s just a pile of logs without much significance. Sorry but could you have another kind of landmark? Something cooler and has something to do with darkness and mystery.

Thanks! I got my idea from the tunnels by the lake and thought that it would be a good idea if the Dark Forest cats learned tunnel skills!

And I think bridges don't appear in the Dark Forest territory. It's rather unrealistic. Have something more related to nature. Maybe another forest or something.

Re: DF Discussion: Territory
Okay, I'll add something else:
Name of Landmark: The Spawning Mist
Description: A dark, wilting tree with no leaves and deep mist swirling around it, and toadstools around the bottom of it. Nothing surrounds it but the rest of DF trees
Mostly used for: When apprentices/warriors spawn into DF, they appear out of the deep mist near the base of the tree
Location: Near the outside of camp
Pictures: I couldn't find one. The mist is hard to find XD

Re: DF Discussion: Territory
Sorry XD Well, I'm trying to find a photo for the Spawning place, but it's hard to find a picture with thick mist below it around a dark area...... I'm looking, but I really can't find anything to fit my description.... Think you could find one? I mean, if you don't I understand, but.... if not, I think I'll post a picture of a tree in a dark forest without the mist at the bottom

Name of Landmark:Stronghold cave
Description:A round cave that leads to a stone 3 foxlengths high
Mostly used for:When Dark forest cats become warriors, they "sleep" beside it.There, they are granted more strength, speed, and longer, sharper claws
Location:at the end of Dark river
Picture:it won't let me make a spoiler,so i would have to make a link, which is forbidden,so...think of lichen draped over a cave coming out of the river...like mother mouth. That's Stronghold cave.

Re: DF Discussion: Territory
I think the final decision will be with Phanta, but I'm a little doubtful about this one. Dark Forest cats can't really "sleep" in their dreams. How are they granted more strength, speed, and longer, sharper claws? Even though the Warriors series is pretty fictional/fantasy, there isn't really "pure magic" in it.
