Forestblaze had an idea, and most members agreed to it, but nothing came of it. The suggestion was: At the end of each month Mods privately voted who was the most helpful/best member that month. Then they announce first and second place. If you approve, Bot, would you PM all the Mods? Thanks!

I think it's a great idea! Although, you may have to deal with playing favorites....

This idea isn't actually very original since many other forums have it. But we could give it a try. Maybe everyone had to post an explanation on why they chose that particular member to be a MOTM.

I think this was suggested before and Dragonclaw rejected it for being biased and offensive because its impossible for it to not become a popularity contest. Personally I think it might be nice but I do understand why in the past it was rejected.

But that doesnt change the fact that its a biased popularity contest. That's why it was rejected. Anonymous or not it doesn't change that. This was suggested twice in the past and rejected on both occasions because of that.
